I for one don't agree that the show will be over if vincent and cat share a simple kiss.. that would be like the seal of their bond and commitment to each other
and I don't believe evan will be their happy sidekick if he finds out that vincent (who has the love of the girl evan wants) is the beast he's been chasing after. His jealoussy will lead him to act stupid before he would ever consider helping vincent the ''handsome beast'' that has catherine.
I was kindoff bummed at how standoffish cat was about vincent being at the party..It was so amazing to see him there in his suit and he looked soooo nice..*sigh* why could he dance amits all the guest but not just sit at the dinnertable.. nonsense.. I am so tired of waiting for the kiss.. just one kiss.. jeesz.. still wanting to know more keeps me hooked for now..

Then they are going to get her to safety. Come up with some bogus reason as to why Vincent was there on that road. Evan is gonna have no choice in accepting their explanation, but his instincts are going to continue to tell him something is amiss. And then once again we are going to be put back on any progress where Cat and Vincent are concerned since his ex-fiance' is about to enter the picture for a bit. *rolls eyes* I thought they said this episode was gonna be some big changes? Nothing has really changed. I was kinda bummed about this episode.

I have been enjoying this show more and more. I have especially loved the action sequences with Kristen. This episode reminded me of what romance looks like. I still love how capable they are making Catherine, but the chemistry between the leads is great too. If you haven't watched give it a look.

@ GeneralRapunzel.. Cat said she had a crush on Zalansky when she was in Kindergarten. And she is at least 2 or 3 years older than her sister. So there is no way her sister would have recognized that name.
At the end it looked like Evan couldn't quite make out who was holding Cat or more importantly what he looked liked, as he was walking forward. He parked the car a little ways away from the incident and he was squinting his eyes as he was approaching, and it was foggy and very dark. So I think that in true B&B form, they are going to draw this out as far as Evan coming on board or not, in helping them out with Vincent's DNA/Secret. Since Vincent obviously had no where to run off with Cat, especially when Evan & Heather came, I think he (Vincent) is going to realize that they are Cat's only hope in getting her some help since she's been shot and is now passed out. So he's gonna calm himself by the time Evan is face to face with him so that he wont see his beastly side. The

When Vincent kept repeating how much better he felt, I knew he was getting sicker. And doctors don't trust patients like that, no matter what Vincent said.
And why didn't her sister recognize the name if Cat knew the real Vincent Zalansky in her youth?
Evan is a good guy. I think if he learns what happened to Vincent and how Vincent has tried to help people, including Cat and himself, he'll be willing to help. Until he thinks Vincent becomes a danger. And then anything goes. That's the danger of the moral character, no?
Heather and Evan I think are doomed. He's too into Cat.
Great episode! I love their connection! I'm a little choked to see Vincent's ex fiancee in the preview. I don't think they will get back together but she may be the reason if Cat backs down. I don't think Vincent will get back with ex. He had all this time to but chose to be with Cat.

To: "Guest": Cat DID have a silver clutch purse in her hand when she was running out of the reception after getting the keys from Heather. Her little jacket was thrown over her arm. She probably kept her gun since the woman from the dating service was the murderer and they could'nt pin anything solid on her yet, she kept it for safety. Evan isn't going to let "anything go", so their guard has to be up. The eyes are the windows to the soul as the expression goes. Vincent and Catherine's love for each other is shown when they look into each other's eyes. It would be nice to hear the words said.

truly an amazing episode!! cat and vincent dancing really captured their bond and from beginning to end i was hooked! & what a cliff hanger cant wait to see what happens next, fingers crossed that it will last longer than a season!

EVAN DOSN'T NEED TO BE INVOLED WITH THIS RELATIONSHIP AT THIS POINT IN TIME.. HOPEFULLY VINCENT WILL HAND CAT TO HIM AND TAKE OFF.. AND IF YOU GET THE KISS THE SHOW IS OVER FOLKS..BY THE WAY WHERE DID CAT GET THE GUN? Vincent's ex-fiance really needs to step off. VinCat is the future! I don't think I can handle two love triangles and lately I hardly fell as if there is any love triangle involving VinCat and Evan.

I loved this episode soooo much!! The chemistry is just out of this world between Vincent & Catherine! Him standing in the doorway of the reception looking sooooo handsome wanted to make me just melt!!! And the whole slow motion thing made it so intense! A+ on that scene! I too was hoping for a kiss! I agree with the others that I don't think Evan can be trusted. He still has feelings for Catherine & I think jealousy would set in before wanting to help Vincent. The love triangle won't be with Evan, but with Vincent's ex-fiance at the hospital that recognizes him. Is Vincent going to stay in his beast form when Evan approachs them? How do they get her to the hospital? They looked like they were in the middle of the country! Evan should pick up on Vincent's tux. Didn't anyone see them dance together at the reception? We just have to keep watching it over and over again until January to get our Catherine Vincent "fix"!!! Please keep voting for them on People's Choice Awards for "

The pairing of Evan and Heather seemed a bit odd to me. She's cute and all but she's a bit ditzy so I don't think she's necessarily appealing to him. I think Evan accepted the invite to the wedding just so he could be close to Cat. He does have a thing for her.
I think Evan will be trouble for Cat and Vincent and they should not bring Evan in. He has no reason to keep Vincent's secret and once he sees Cat and Vincent together, he'll know he stands no chance with her and jealously could rear it's ugly head.

What a rollercoaster of an episode! I think your review totally mirrors my thoughts! Was completely enthralled with VinCat's "discovery" of each others feelings. Would have LOVED to have it sealed with a kiss, but CW Writers know how to leave you hanging.
Having Evan on board would be a great asset for Project Save Vincent. I think his respect and admiration for Cat, combined with his scientific curiosity and access to equipment will make him a natural ally.
January 24th is a loooooong way away, but it's sure gonna be worth it!

Wow! VinCat forever! I never thought I would be so overly invested in this show. I came in watching just to see if it was as bad as everyone was saying. It truly was not; it's so good. The chemistry between Vincent and Cat cannot be denied and they had amble opportunities to finally kiss but the writers keep dragging it out more and more, which is fine.
I used to think that Evan should be in on the secret but as someone else pointed out, the more people in on the Vincent's condition, the more dangerous it gets for him and Cat.

WOWWWW....the episode was indeed jsut AWESOME...the VinCat moments made me even more crazy for them...the last scene was SUPERB...vincent saving Cat & Evan turning up at the scene...I really do wish that Evan hops on board with Vincent & Catherine....he becomes good friends with VinCat & JT....then Evan & JT together can try to help VinCat ...I liked the pairing of Evan with Heather...they look good together...so this way Evan can earn positive points with us all VinCat fans...

I loved this episode. I think it was the best one yet. I hope more people give it a chance, it is getting better and better. Some of the secondary characters are becoming more interesting as this unfolds. Cannot decide if Evan is going to lean good or bad but I can't wait to find out.

I don't think Evan could be trusted, but not because he's a bad guy. I think he couldn't be trusted to keep the secret because he is not invested in any way in Vincent's situation. He would see it as Vincent is a 'monster' and he should be studied by science, and that he killed someone so he's dangerous and Evan would think he would have to protect Cat and do what's best for her, blah blah blah.
So are we to think that a little something is going on between Cat's partner and the chief?
They need to have Vincent and Cat kiss already!!
P.s. - Love Cat's bridesmaids dress. I'm pretty sure they are the same exact dresses from the ShopRuche bridal line. Very pretty.

I'm completely in love with this show! Every episode gets better and better. I was worried about the "changes" the promo mentioned but I was totally overwhelmed with all the declarations between Vincent and Catherine. The ending was sad and sweet. You could tell Vincent wanted to flee but he would risk it all to get Cat help! I think Evan could eventually be involved but its too soon, he is still to angry/confused about the "not totally human" thing that saved him.

OMG I couldn't stop smiling the whole episode through! Absolutely amazing i knew the mid season finale was going to be good but i didnt know this good...........Cant wait for the next episode!

This episode is clearly THE best one yet!
I have to say, I can't seem to want to trust Evan. I think he seems a bit sketchy. Like, I understand his curiousity as a scientist and whatnot, but him finding out about Vincent might be a bad thing. For instance, if he were to find out about his beastly tendencies, he could focus on his lack of control and the possibilities of endangering Cat's life, etc. Bottom line: Don't think he can be trusted. I have this bad vibe about him. Oh and also the fact that they keep mentioning that he's a "player" should be a clue on his personality, as well.
January 24th can't come soon enough!!! #TEAM #VINCENT #CAT :)

The CW really does know it's cliff hangers I'll give them that. The episode was so good in the beginning right till the scene where vincent leaves the wedding. As far as Evan is concerned I think I agree with including him because he was going to figure it out anyway and now they just made it more interesting by determining how he does that. It was really nice to see the relationship between Cat and Vincent grow, atleast they admitted the nature of the relationship, right?? Or was that just me being delusional?
