    @Vito
You have every right to complain about the plot holes and bad writing. If you feel that way though, why do you still watch? I am one of those "crazy" Chair shippers. In real life should these two ever be together, hell no. It is a show and when they're not completely making these two look like idiots, they have good on-screen chemistry. It's fun to watch, and I wish the writers would have handled the story better, but it is, what it is.

  2. haha

How is Chuck not giving Bart a hand a plot hole? It's the kind of situation where you don't know what you'd do unless your in it. Based on the situation and the preceding events they made the beat decision

It seems futile to have morality arguments about GG. All the characters have done bad things (some certainly worse than others) and there really is no message about morality in the whole show. In the real world, most people wouldn't let another person fall off a roof, most people wouldn't fiddle with their account numbers, and most people wouldn't publish mean things about their loved ones (I am only singling those things out because they are recent and topical, I'm aware that other shameful things have been done on GG by other characters as well). It's okay for a TV show to break those rules because it isn't real and NO ONE should take any life lessons away from it.

  4. Moz

Yeah let's just bash the people who actually saw the plot holes and tell them to shut up. As long as one's favourite couple end up together, who cares if the show is poorly written and portray characters in an inappropiate manner. Well it's just a tv show. You don't have to watch and it's not like we live in a democracy where you can express your opinion.

Very bittersweet. Only one episode left. In the six seasons the most three memorable events about GG are 3) NYC 2) Bart Bass dying for real. And the number one memorable event 1) Chuck and Blair getting married!

Yes, Chuck should have reached for him and if Chuck was an actual real person, he would have. Even though he would have been signing his death certificate, if he would actually have been able to save him. The thing is though, Chuck is not a real person. Blame the damn writers, who wrote that stupidity. It's all over next week, so all you complainers who say that the show sucks, but still continue to watch, can finally shut up. If a show gets to stupid to watch, then I stop watching it. While the show has gone in some very weird directions, I still find it somewhat entertaining.

In my opinion, Chuck and Blair, made the right decision. I do not understand why people think Chuck or Blair for that matter, should've been the better person and helped Bart. He murdered at least two people just to keep his shady dealings secret, threatened both of them and their loved ones, and tried to have his son killed. Had either one of them showed Bart any compassion he would have pulled them down with him

  8. Vito

Wow now the crazy Chair fans even come with their 'you don't have to watch' defense. Why aren't people allowed to critizise obvious plot holes and bad writing ? And to quote the one above me
''Bart was the one who tried to push Chuck off the roof!
and when he skipped the blow, Bart fell off...''
Chuck still had time to save him. There was no self defense anymore when Bart was on the verge of falling down the building. There is no law that allows you to watch people dying without helping them. In fact there is this law called 'duty to rescue', so you have to save them. And Chuck didn't kill him directly but letting him die is pretty much the same. All the people are so desillusioned by this big Chair lovestory that they are willing to oversee anything.

  9. jen

The only thing more unbelievable than season six is the ratings this site gives it. Good lord.

  10. Irupé

    Chuck isn't a murderer!
Bart was the one who tried to push Chuck off the roof!
and when he skipped the blow, Bart fell off...
Why would Chuck help him climb up? so that Bart could push him again?
there's no crime! there's even a law that absolves you of murder if you can prove that you did it in self defence, exactly what chuck did...

How convenient it is for Chair fans to just say : It's a show when Chuck does something bad. But the minute Dan writes one bad word on his friends then it's like : Worst human being ever!

  12. Zoran

@Moz, Thanks for quoting me, but this is not real life, but TV soap! Of course it's a cliche in question, but that Chuck could reconcile with his father is need another 3-4 episodes which do not exist! And that's it, who do not like does not have to look!

  13. Tinkelbell90

@ Moz, you don't HAVE to watch....Chuck already tried to save his father when he fought for him to get him out of "hiding". So....

Does anybody know what song is played when Blair is watching the news about the plane crash and Dan does his speech and introduces Chuck?

  14. Moz

So this was the penultimate episode. Chuck letting his father die in order to achieve his goals. What a great character developement. Of course Chuck could have reach out to save his FATHER but no. The potential that his FATHER could have pulled him under is a good excuse to watch him falling of the building. And yeah Chuck didn't kill anyone just let them died. So of course he is the better man. Chuck just wanted to get what belonged to him. He just wanted the company that his FATHER founded in order to fulfill a pact he made up with Blair. Yay Bart died. So now Chuck and Blair can finally be together again after Chuck decided that his ego is satisfied. Hurray to the last season. The writing was never better and more cliché.

  15. Zoran

Certainly not forget Blair and her assistants - Serena, Georgina, Sage and Ivy, who played a key role in the destruction of Bart! Another proof that when Serena and others join together become unstoppable! Finally Serena and Blair forgive each other and reconcile, proving once again that on the UES sisterhood is still alive and kicking!

  16. Zoran

Now still remain blonde with great legs and a dazzling smile and a lonely boy to fix their love life! It will be difficult, but not impossible to Serena and Dan finally reconcile forever! Because, Dan has already put in Serena’s suitcase last chapter about himself. In which Dan explains how much he loves Serena, that he can not live without her, and how sorry he is obeying his brain and not his heart when he sent a negative chapter on Serena! Of course that Dan is not expected that Serena immediately forgive him, because it would only confirm what Dan wrote in that chapter! Serena and Dan, must first to learn to swim, as Dan said in 6x05, than finally to be able to tie the knot forever! As I announced last week, Dan has done the right thing in the last minute helped Chuck, so making a full circle because now Dan and Chuck can be friends as they tried in 1 season! Certainly not forget Blair and her assistants - Serena, Georgina, Sage and Ivy, who played a key role in the destruct

The whole GG is so funny but I can't stop watching it:)
Anyway, does anyone remember when Rufus took those films that were in the envelope to Lilly and when he was leaving, Dan came in and saw this envelope in Lilly's hands? Well, I think this is the envelope Dan put in Serena's bag, to make her see that he is changed in a good way and not the same as Bart.

  18. Zoran

The episode is excellent but too late to repair what was lost, however, though this is the penultimate episode, and it must be great. It has everything - drama, friendship, love, hate, death, and desire to Serena and others to obtain a well-deserved happy ending! Well to start, Chuck did the right thing which he is not saved Bart, he had no choice after Bart attempts to kill him, as well as after intimidation of Blair and Lily! Of course it would be better that Chuck reached out to rescue Bart, and also showed that he is a better man than him, but in that Chuck probably would not have succeeded, and maybe crazy Bart would pulled Chuck with him! Of course that Chuck is a better man than Bart, simply he did not kill anyone, and just wanted to get what belongs to him! Finally battle between Zeus and Kronos ended in favor of Zeus, now Zeus can be with Hera, ie. Chuck and Blair can finally be together! Now still remain blonde with great legs and a dazzling smile and a lonely boy to fix

  19. Phineas

Seriously people. I think many of you have to check your moral compass again. No human being has the right to decide about another human's life. Even if that human is horrible and evil as hell. And don't start telling me that Chuck didn't activeley killed his father and only just didn't save him as an excuse. It's a crime with the same impact. Since when do people have the right to say that another human being didn't derserve to continue living and let him die? Can we go out and let a person drown because he was a bad person for example? No we can't. And tonight they destroyed Chuck's character by making him the same as Bart. A ruthless, merciless man who would even let a member of his family die in order to get what he wants.

  20. M

@Juliette I think you need to remember that its a show and not really life. In order for chuck/everyone to be happy Bart needed to die. He was also a horrible father that was probably just about to kill his son...might i add not for the first time that night. I'm pretty sure that in real life most of the people who commented would save the person if they were in that situation, but its a show.

As for whether Chuck should have helped him - probably. Would he have been able to save him - probably not.

Not true, if Blair and Chuck both took one arm they would have helped him up and he would have survived. We will never know if he would have tried to take them down with him (2 against 1, I don't think so) but now Chuck will have the eternal memory that he let his own father die when he could have at least try to save him.

I'm starting to worry about people here. Hey if anyone was dying and I could save them and they would beg me to help them, I would...ANYONE. My worst enemy, the worst person in the universe, just anyone, I would help them. If not to be nice, for my own conscience not to have saved this person or because of religion.

Loved so many things this episode: Blair's bitches (GeorGINA especially) and Dan's role stand out. But really: it was a mistake to bring BB back. I'm glad he fell off the building...but I had to laugh like hell. I mean.. HAHA.. the scene portraying Bart falling was so cliche and amateur that I got tears in my eyes for the writers'/producers' stupidity.
The episode next week being the last GG episode ever makes me feel sad and I look back to all the great years of GG fun. On the other hand though I feel it's the right moment to stop for GG because things are getting far below the GG level of professionalism we're used to.

  24. Zoran

@G. Singular, So what happened to you that now you cheer for Serena and Dan, must soon end of the world?(lol) This is simply impossible that you now like Serena and Dan, rather than Serena and Nate, please tell me you're kidding? On the other hand, anyone can change his mind, and that's okay!

  25. G. Singular

There are probably a hundred reasons why Georgina is GG. She just pulled out the GG 2.0 version in order to protect her real identity from Philip. It makes sense if it has to be G. Also I noticed some connections with Bart and Georgina - Russia (Milo's father is Russian; Bart has clearly some dealings in Russia), and the fact that it seems they know each other well during the party last episode (no introduction took place).

On the side note, is it just me or Dan suddenly became so sexy when he admitted he's trying to win back Serena? For the first time, I am glad that we will have Derena reunion on the last season. I like Dan now.
