@em i too laughed at this point its difficult to take these serious scenes to be anything but. o the music was perfectly chosen and showed even the writers and producers find the remains of the once beloved GG a Hot ass Mess!!!

@kay REALLY REALLY please i can't i really can't at times. you dan fans are really too much. the show has portrayed since the pilot for lonely boy to always be on a high horse whilst still pining for ms airhead and recently Queen B to go back to Ms airhead S aka GG1.0 target whilst secretly wanting to be Charles yet publicly loathing him settling for a friendship with golden boy.

@sophiexo i was merely saying that conrad is more evil. i loved dan scott! he was the only reason in the ending why i kept watching. i cried when he died!!! n ah OTH a series that knew how to make us forget their mistakes and become full circle in final series,
@Z again i was merely saying don't take the show to heart, i used to feel the way you do but i have since taken the show to be a soap opera now. the writers have messed up the characters its hard to follow at times. i agree a better death should have been produced/scripted with bart doing a suicide would have made more sense and dan really revealing his real expose on the man!!

No need to be patronising. I simply don't think being complicit in a murder is the best start for Chuck and Blair. It makes me uneasy about what this show is saying. I'm just saying I would've preferred Chuck to have tried to save him even if he couldn't. It would've made me more comfortable than seeing two core characters watch someone plummet to his death. There are better ways to write Bart's death that don't make Chuck and Blair come off even more cold and calculating.

@DreaXOXO Dan Scott is a worse father than Bart Bass. He always weirdly loved his sons...well at least one of them and he never tried to kill them...just his brother..:D Also, in the end, he did feel sorry...oh and he ended up doing some good before he died! What good did Bart Bass ever do??

[continued] I also enjoyed seeing B reclaim her crown as Queen of Scheme. (And can I just say that I loved the way Sage proved that phone stealing isn’t just the ‘training bra’ of scheme by thinking to steal the dead guy’s phone... how the hell did she get it?)
This is the second week in a row where we’ve had some good teamwork going on. It always makes me happy seeing the group come together to protect one of their own. Overall, I’m looking forward to the finale now. Is it weird that I’m even looking forward to finding out why Ivy was screaming at William? Most importantly, though, Jack Bass is back.

[continued] When he told her "maybe if you stopped hating your power, you'd stop hating yourself," it kind of made me think that this was always part of his plan. He certainly made her more conscious about giving her heart away so easily, as shown by the fact that she didn't just accept Dan's apology and take him back. It took a while to get here, but I think both of them showed growth this episode and maybe they're even at a point where they could work eventually. I won't be unhappy with a Derena endgame.

The Chuck and Blair stuff was good. It’s always nice to see the lengths they would both go to in order to protect one another. I also think Leighton and Ed did a good job of an emotional and somewhat ridiculous episode. (Not necessarily bad ridiculousness, just the typical “this is kinda stupid but I’m okay with it” ridiculousness that Gossip Girl fans have gotten used to).
It was lovely to seen Blair and her merry band of bitches in action. I agree that each of them played their parts perfectly and the guest stars on GG are finally being used in the right way (it's a shame we only have one of these episodes left to enjoy that fact). They were brought back so that they could be tied in to the stories of the main characters that we actually care about and they didn't absorb too much screen time with their own independent stories. It was refreshing to see. I also enjoyed seeing B reclaim her crown as Queen of Scheme. (And can I just say that I loved the way Sage proved that p

I liked the episode until the last scene. I don't care that Bart is dead and that Chuck might be responsible, but the music was ridiculous. I laughed all the way through the scene and had to rewatch it multiple times just to hear what was being said over my own laughter. Also, are we going to find out how Bart got over that railing? Did Chuck push him? Did Bart take a run at Chuck and accidentally dive over the edge? We didn't really see as the camera cut to Blair. Maybe they want us not to know until next episode but, even if that is the case, it's pretty stupid.
Everything else was pretty enjoyable. After last week's episode, I wondered how the hell they were going to make Derena root-worthy again and, whilst the way Dan treated Serena was by no means okay (in fact, it was horrible), I feel like some light was shed on his motivations this week. First of all, every scene with Dan and Serena was painful to watch. Not because it was contrived, that's typical GG bad writing, but because it was so obvious the actors couldn't care less.
Ok, onto the story: Blair's b!tch rant to Dan was so hypocritical. Please, she has always been on a high horse, but it's about time for her to step down because Blair Waldorf is only good as an accessory to Chuck Bass. Yeah, I said it. Her character died a long time ago and everything she does now is ridiculous. Acting all high and mighty, scheming to take Bart down when NONE of her schemes have ever worked really.
Anyways, I'm glad she was there to witness Chuck let his father die. Now they truly are the most despicable couple and they deserve each other. And hopefully Dan and Serena will never get back together because both of them strangely deserve better than each other.

i really wish georgina become a fulltime character throughout the series!
but thank you so much, this final season! she is become almost a main cast fulltime..
Georgina is grown up, she can become a really bad girl but beside her crazyness she has a good heart..

i think bart threw himself over because we didnt actually see charles push him. i think it was old GG thank goodness, the whole link up was hilar because it showed G really is the queen of cons and blair the schemes. the other two wannabes couldn't even attempt!!! wanted ivy to reveal then that she's seeing old billy boy but hey ho. dan just proved many of your theories correct but its still immoral! you can't treat someone that bad but hey its the rhodes curse, he's not rufus in her story he's VDW. Carter's her rufus. nate nice to see we're back on track with GG hunt (never saw coming tuche writers you're learning

WTF??? seriously W-T-F? nothing made sense in this episode everything seemed so forced.... specially Derena, in what paralel universe does a guy write that much shit about the woman he loves and thinks it´s ok to publish it just because in his head his point of view is the universal truth? and in what altern reality does that woman marry him after he had the guts to play with her feelings and publicly call her "nothing" (among other things)? and you think him writing nice and nasty things about Serena simultaneously justifies it? what sane person do that to someone he cares about, let alone love? and for God´s sake what woman with the tiniest bit of self respect marries him? Nooo writers just no! I expected so much more from the season finale, they should´ve put more effort on the writing.... and don´t get me started with all the Bart nonsense, and what about all the incoherences of Nate in jail? and Ivy and Georgina helping Blair!! I was so so disappointed this used to be an aweso

Itt was a really good episode! But it was to fast it could stretch at least 2-3 eps! Shame S6 wasn't so good from the beggining!
Chuck story was nice but finished bad! Chuck would never kill his father! It's Chuck guys!!!!!!
Blair was nice this time around the, just her styling is gone rouge! -.- the tension about Chuck's fake demise could last longer to step her up a bit!
Serena! I'm glad she is stepping up and she deserves to go make something about her and her future!!
Dan! I like he turned around! And was Serena talking to him about being the one who knew GG! Currently I believe that YUKI is GG!
Missed Lilly and Rufus!
Nate! He could've been longer in jail, take a shower or 2 and FINALLY MAN UP!
A good But very RUSHED EPISODE! They really needed 12-13 eps!

was anyone else distracted with the background music (especially the last scene)? I felt like i was watching a movie and not a TV show!
Like the last episode, I was happy with ow it was progressing! 2 in a row! that's the best GG has done in this season.

Maybe because I watch too many films but is anyone considering Chuck didn't do it as Bart may had attempted to pull him over like the bad guys always does. It also may incriminate him more if he attempted to help. Question though what happen to the guards?

I think I would've been more comfortable with an attempt to save Bart even if it didn't work. I mean Bart's a big guy - Chuck may have not been able to pull him over and I think that would've been more dramatic. At least Chuck fans would be able to point out that he his better than his father.
