I think Dan's plan is to help Chuck take down Bart Bass all along. He turned against all his friends just to gain Bart's faith. That's why he said his plan is going smoothly.
As for Serena, she's my favorite character but it pains me to see her keep hitting rock bottom everytime she tries to take a step up. I literally screams when she dials Steven right after she called it off with Dan.
I'm starting to like Sage but, one time she didn't care shit that Nate tried to hack the computer, later she got really persistent to learn about who's calling him?
I'm getting a dead Lily vibe? Let's hope it's not true.
p.s.: Why is everyone so mean with the user rating? It's a same ole GG episode with a crazy drama and faux love story? Definitely doesn't deserve 2.2. I'm giving it 4.0

Nate will end up in jail for his wrong doings(just like his father) in order to expose bart bass, chuck will end up with the empire therefore taking something that did not belong to him in the first place just like his father... Hence the quote said by nate and chuck in pilot episode " do you think we will turn out like our fathers?"

It is Dan who should punch Nate. Since they're killing this character in such an ugly way why not make him woman beate like Chuck is.

Could the little boy in the flash forward be Jenny and Chuck's, from their fling? If Jenny has a child, it would explain why she is still away. It would also explain why Dan is so angry at the UES.

And what does Serena do, again the same as before - back to Stephen, a man who knows a couple of months, rather than accept Dan whom knows 5 years! Of course, the damage is done, but not beyond repair! But, always has but, it remains the last chapter, which is probably about Dan himself! And of course, as mentioned by someone here, in this chapter Dan would write about himself what is the truth - that he is no better or worse than the rest of them, and how much he still loves Serena, because like Serena said that Dan is love of her life, it's also for Dan Serena is love of his life! And when they both understand and accept each other with all the ups and downs than it will be the wedding (we've already seen the pictures)!

Since all spit on Dan I'll try to explain why he did it. Dan’s Chapter on Serena was the test that Dan put in front of Serena, and as he described Serena in chapter, she fell on this test! Rather than accept Dan with all the ups and downs, as he accepts Serena, she did it again the same as before - she ran away, not wanting to deal with the problem and solve it! Of course Dan’s approach to all of this is not the best, but he just told the truth, the harsh way, but it's true! Perhaps Dan has organized to lift stuck, but it is certain that Serena has organized paparazzi! As Dan did not know how Serena will react in the elevator, so Dan did not know that Serena would go with him to look for a flat! Everything after the lift was not staged, it is clear that the two of them is still in love! And what does Serena do, again the same as before - back to Stephen, a man who knows a couple of months, rather than accept Dan whom knows 5 years! Of course, the damage is done, but not bey

This Dan, the outsider, arc proved to be the most deranged b.s. perpetrated upon us. These clowns think they understand drama, yet they write childish nonsense, and drag it out for 6 years. Every drama idea they attempted on the show proved to be a dud, but this last one takes the cake. These losers are very special.

It is so entertaining to read all your working class hysterical reactions. Also makes me think Stephanie Savage's lineage had a distinct lower class flavour not that long ago. Well, ok, I know some of you are Asian or Eastern European nouveau riche, but that's basically the worst type of lower class mentality. Identifying yourselves with the NJBC seems to be your only happy moment in life. I hope at least you become a case study in someone's research and teaching.
@Lulz, I don't know. In a way it makes sense, because Dan is obsessed with all of them. And then the laptop does end up with Serena of all people. And that could be the final chapter, with him winning over everybody's respect in the twisted GG way. But I don't see Dan as GG.
What is up with the clothes this season? Blair, Lily and Serena all looked hideous.

First time ever in GG, I respected Dan. I don't necessarily agree with what he's doing, but I respect him for finally taking a stand. And I don't think everybody treats him like an outsider. Nate didn't. But yes, Serena and him would never have had an equal relationship. At one point Serena's all I let you in, and at others she's just so dependent on him that it's pathetic. He definitely got her article right.
I don't know why but I got this feeling Dan might be contemplating suicide after it's all over. It just seemed so ominous.
Also, I felt scared for Lily's life.
This episode was back to old gossip girl for me and I'm so much more sad now that it's ending.

I get why you think what you think but writers are not that dumb come on!! first of all Chuck is not going to die!! and second was I the only one who never bought Derena´s wedding pictures? they obviously tried and succeded on tricking us but mark my words SERENATE IS GONNA BE ENDGAME just think for a second just saying......

@Lulz amen!!!! guys it´s already been said there´s no hope left for Serenate so you need to get over it (that doesn´t change the fact that Serenate would be a way much better ending than Derena happily ever after but we know these writers can´t get their job done so) I felt so sorry for Serena but at this point she should know better and Dan WTF??? this guy seriously needs some help and get a life of his own Chuck won´t die Bart is the one who´s gonna die, again. Loved Chair´s scene at the end and Sage needs to go ASAP!

For those that believe Dan is the voice of reason of the show....it has actually always been Rufus (save for his short descent into ivyville ). Nothing gives Dan the right to write what he did about those people and it is his version of the truth....and on the end who is he.....Serena has Daddy issues, Chuck has DAddy issues, Blair is stuck in highschool, Nate can't find his Midas touch....but what about the boy who is so hung up on being poor and still bitter he had to ride the subway. Your parents sacrificed so you would have options in your life and you through most of that away to chase the NJBC. Who has issues? Get over it and move on. Why continue to whine about being a visitor to this world...fricken leave already then.

I will never understand why this show just swept Serenate under the rug when they were amazing together, on Stephanie´s words Chace and Blake had one of the strongest chemestry on screen so.. I´ll never get it but even when is not happening I keep saying the perfect ending would be Serenate and Chair no matter what Dan does from now on Derena will never be redeemed before my eyes they were already ruined to begin with, after this I´m really curious about what storyline will lead them to marry, writers must had been on crack when they wrote it and even more high when they seriously considered we´d buy it.
