Revenge Photo Preview: Their Next Moves ...

by at . Comments

Revenge returns January 6, and ABC has released photos for the first two episodes of 2013.

In "Power," Victoria begins plotting a scheme which, surprisingly, involves Emily, while Emily locks in on her next target, and Declan discovers something troubling that may threaten the future of the Stowaway.

What's Emily's first move of the new year? Putting the moves on Aiden, it looks like!

The photos below find Emily and Aiden embracing on the beach, though she may or may not have tackled him prior to that (standard), and the Porters (with Charlotte) certainly look concerned on the docks.

Take a look at some of the images for January's first Revenge episode below:

In the following week’s installment, “Sabotage,” a fundraiser and wine auction provide the perfect backdrop for Emily and Aiden's next plan of attack, while Victoria strategically plots her next move.

Meanwhile, Jack, Declan and Amanda struggle with what lies ahead. What do you think that is? And is Emily getting close to Daniel part of Victoria's plan? Or something she does in defiance of it?

I'm not really sure how to feel about "Revenge" any more, it's giving me mixed feelings as it fluctuates between the utter greatness of the first season (episodes like "Resurrection" and "Penance" were downright brilliant) and something that isn't bad but is just not up to standard Revenge quality (like "Lineage" for instance). I think it might be suffering from a sophomore crisis but hopefully now that the storylines have mostly been cleared up in "Revelations" and the show appears to know where it's going things will be better.

I like Emily and aiden. But seperate, I don't feel like the connection is really there. I liked Emily and Daniel much much better. Although Emily says her feelings were not real you can see the way she looks at Daniel and there is a spark there that know one can look past. So I am excited for these upcoming episodes, and am excited for some more Emily and Daniel scenes!

I absolutely love watching Revenge and can't wait til January 5th. Aidan is incredibly handsome and talented. I love his accent and his great looks -He should be on the cover of People's Most Beautiful People Edition!

Hey Liz, I believe your comment was cut off by the website but anyhow, I'll agree with you on a few grounds. The second season, like all of Revenge has been very methodically well-planned, which is one of the best factors of the show (especially when you consider other that look like they're just making things up as they go along) and I do feel that it eventually will be worth the wait. That being said, I don't care much for Aiden, though the character dynamics he has with Emily is terrific and was mostly excited for Jennifer Jason Leigh, though I feel the character's send-off fell short of that excitement. My main point is not that this has been a bad season, but overall it just feels to me like Revenge lost some of its ways, more or less it lost its grip (and I absolutely agree that taking down a person each week would have been boring, which is sort of why that stopped in the beginning of the first season for the storyline to actually develop). Moreover The Initiative is something I get slightly bored with. I realize writers might have been let off ground if they chose to pursue this path but I would have preferred it to be a "family matter", if you will, in the sense that it was more the Graysons' making than that of a government whatever conspiracy agency. Bottom line, and this might just be me, but I haven't gotten "into" this season of Revenge as much as I had the first (though that might have been difficult considering the level of obsession that would probably have others thinking I was a middle aged spoiled girl). Episodes 1-2 had (season 2) had me mad over them but after that the allure of Revenge has been slowly stripping away (maybe it's just the IB diploma and how tired it's making me, haha) but on the last episode I was honestly looking at the clock and hoping "can this just end a little quicker?"

@justme(2) I think that season 2 is even better than season 1. The plots are more intense and very well thought out. The new characters are very interesting, especially Aiden who has added so much to the show. Barry Sloane is super talented and I am so glad he is now a regular instead of just a guest star. Reven8ing a character per week was getting a little tedious, and to continue that into season 2 would not have made the show better as eventually you will run out of characters to "take down". Emily and Aiden so far have been dealing with multiple dilemma's and have been major doing damage control. Soon they will start their plan of attack on The Initiative and that danger and action should be worth the wait. It was good that they spent the first 1/2 of the season tying up all the loose ends in the story-lines. Plus watching Emily and Aiden get together is HOT! I think this season has been very well thought out and executed in both the acting and writing dept. I am very excited to see what will happen next and hoping desperately for a season 3 of Reven8e!

Yeah, but the thing is, we don't know if it's just one body. Though that's probably not the case anyway. Does anyone else feel slightly let down by the second season so far?

So nice to see Emily and Aiden still getting some smoochie-time, even though Emily will soon be "playing" Daniel like a string quartet at a Hampton cotillion. I hope Emily and Aiden get to sneak around behind Danny-boys back, because it would be a shame to put out that smokin' hot fire between them so soon after it just ignited. Love that it's Emily initiating it with Aiden...but she seems to have a pattern of clobbering him before she "gives in" to him. What's up with that? I'm counting the days until Jan 6th...to see what really up with these pics.
