@bakasara. Amen. I completely agree with you.
And the haters commenting here are very obvious. Let me guess, Padakitty, benson_35, Ozzie, the 5 or so people from supernatural.tv. The merry band of 20 twitter people who present themselves as majority and comment on every single SPN article with their hate, because they can't stand the fact that Sam Winchester is not on the screen every second of the show. Brother fans... yeah right.

No Destiel fan want Sam to be written off. It's just a urban myths that haters create in order to invalidate (or, try to invalidate) the fans of Dean/Cas relationship.

@Kate
I am a Fan of the show - I just don't like single-minded hater-comments, though.
The show is a whole bunch of actors, not just Jared and Jensen. Period.
So don't hate on Beaver of Misha and suffer in silence.

Just because you'd rather see the brothers being together doesn't mean they have to be with each other 24/7 you know that right. From season 1 they had other characters, they've had other people in their lives and went their own ways in episodes. BUT their story was told 1000 x better than it is now. Thats the point, there is nothing wrong with wanting the brothers together, because this story is about the boys loyalty and devotion and having each others backs and being partners and fighting the good fight together.
Theres nothing wrong with wanting that because I'm presuming that is what tptb want us to want which is why they are always splitting them up and having them angst about each other. They want us to do the same.

And I want the lovely interaction between Dean and Castiel, that at this point is a solid, complex story of four seasons and a half, to continue, whether it becomes explicitly a romance or not.

I want to see the brothers at peace with each other as much as the next fan, but they're adults and they have a co-dependency to overcome, and that takes time. It doesn't mean that they don't love each other anymore. Conflict is a necessary passage on the way to a healthy relationship that I hope they will have some day. If it takes some alienation between the two of them, I'm all for it if it's for a greater good in their rapport, and I'm willing to give the writers space to build that!
At the same time, I can't wait to know what's in store for Cas. He's not in every episode but he's become one of the main characters together with the two protagonists. He's like a Winchester, as far as I'm concerned.
It's ok if Sam and Dean have their own lives and friends. Sam is not being written out or anything. On the contrary, he's been given a specific arc that's very much about him. I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out for him with Amelia and I hope for once they don't kill her
IF IT QUACKS LIKE A DUCK....
December 27th, 2012 7:06 AM
IF YOU READ THE COMMENT SECTION, YOU'LL CLEARLY NOTE BASED ON THE DATE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO STARTED ALL THE WANK AND HATE HERE ARE WINCEST FANS. I SAY THEY ARE WINCEST FANS BECAUSE THERE ARE NO OTHER FANS IN THIS FANDOM WHO HATE CASTIEL AND DESTIEL AS MUCH AS WINCEST FANS. NO OTHER FANS FEEL THREATENED BY CASTIEL. NO OTHER FANS FEEL THAT CASTIEL WILL "OMG! REPLACE SAM." THE FACT THAT YOU ALL ARE WINCEST SHIPPERS IS ONLY MADE MORE OBVIOUS BY HOW HARD YOU DENY IT. BECAUSE, OF COURSE, IT'S SO CREDILE THAT REGULAR DEAN/SAM FANS WHO DON'T WANT THE BROTHERS TO BANG AND BE ALL "I HEART INCEST" GO AROUND WANTING TO BASH EVERYTHING CASTIEL/DESTIEL RELATED. NOPE. SORRY. THE ONLY PEOPLE THREATENED ENOUGH TO CRASH EVERY ARTICLE ABOUT CASTIEL WITH HATE ARE WINCEST FANS. YOU SHIP INCEST AND YOU THINK THAT PEOPLE WHO SHIP DEAN/CAS ARE THE CRAZY PEOPLE? YEAH. OKAY....

Oh I just love it. Just because I'm less invested in Sam's storyline it obviously means I'm a so called HATER. the hypocrisy is funny, considering that all these bi bro fans organize campaigns to get Misha off the show, continuously whine about Jeremy Carver, because they don't have the brothers in a car 24/7. And because most extreme fans are so biased they don't even love Dean's character at all, as long as he doesn't hold Sam's hand. Please go home and don't bother people/journalist/cast/crew who can actually enjoy this season.
But obviously I'm such a HATER because I organize campaigns to get Sam off the show, tweet Sam hate to the cast every single day and so on *sarcasm*
The brother fans bore me.
Re: Convention Tickets
December 27th, 2012 7:03 AM
Actually, Misha's tickets are sold at the second highest price after J2. So he is popular. And his co photo-op tickets with Jensen have been selling out *first* before any other type of photo-op. Of course all the cast is popular, but out of the supporting cast Misha is the most popular. This isn't me saying this from any bias. It's just the truth. J2 are the most popular (who would argue against that??) and Misha is the most popular from the supporting cast. Trying to act like Misha is not popular is only making you look like a tin hat.

Because Supernatural is about sexual relations right and the boys are clearly GAY!

Sam and Amelia are so alike. I've been waiting so much for Sam to find someone he can really relate to, someone who can understand those sides of him nobody else can. This choice thing is really killing me, since we know Sam could never choose anyone above Dean - and there's also the guilt of "having abandoned him" already - but... argh. Feels. Tons of them.
Also, dead worried about Castiel ;-; but this means we're going to see Samandiriel again! (Better not look too excited. We know what happens to beloved characters. Ssssh play it cool).

I find it really funny how some are saying that Sam has to come to terms with maybe not working in the family business. Haven't we been watching Sam fight against the family business for the past 8 years? The only thing we've been shown this season from Sam is how much he doesn't like being around Dean and how much he thinks he messed up Sam's chances of a normal life when he came back.
How's this, Dean is the one who comes to terms with the fact that Sam doesn't give 2 shits about him and goes and hunts with someone who at least respects him and Sam can stay with his bitchy vet and whine about how terrible their lives are together.

Wait, Castiel isn't popular? And Misha isn't loved? I'm sorry but this is about as delusional as you can get. Please, Wincest fans, don't make me snatch the tin hats off your head. Shippers can be annoying but you all take the cake. I'm truly suffering from secondhand embarrassment, and this is coming from a huge J2 fan!

You do know that just because Misha sells tickets to cons doesn't make him popular right? There are alot of people that sell tickets to conventions, Jim Beaver, Mark S and why wouldn't they all. But none are as popular as the stars of the show, Jensen and Jared, they always have been and always will be.

Amazing that all you Destiel fans have to love Sam going off with Amelia because you think that means that somehow its now the Dean and Castiel show. And the only reason you'd love that is because you are a Destiel fan.
onamelancholyhill
December 27th, 2012 6:55 AM
Even when you try to deny it, Castiel is loved. Because fans believe in Destiel and because they love him as a character. Facts are all over the place, including the fact that Misha's image is popular in fandom and it SELLS tickets in cons, for instance. There is no way to deny that.
Castiel is important for the plot, and on top of that HE IS IMPORTANT TO DEAN. There are tons of canon references to that. Tons. Dean is happy when Cas is around. Cas is family. Dean needs him.
Don´t be petulant and try to deny it.
Haters
December 27th, 2012 6:54 AM

Newsflash Aly the show actually isn't about your sexual desires or sex at all for that matter. You do know that Sam and Dean are brothers right? And are straight, not gay, hetrosexual!
Don't bring the show down the level of Destiel fans where they see things that aren't there. Don't try to make DW something he's not just because you read fanfiction.

You lose credibility when you say that Supernatural was better off without Misha Collins. It's disappointing how certain fans can so easily ignore the value that a supporting cast, including actors like Misha Collins and Jim Beaver, have brought to Supernatural. The show has *never* just been about the brothers. Since the pilot, there have always been a series of wonderfully compelling supporting characters helping to move the plot along. It's a complete disservice to the writers who created these characters and the actors who brought them to life to dismiss all their work and only attribute the success of the show to Dean and Sam. The brother's bond and their journey certainly drive the story, but the rest of the characters help paint the scenery and pave the road to the whole story that is SUPERNATURAL.
December 27th, 2012 7:11 AM
