ohh i dunno.....tried to murder every single person they love(Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, etc), tried to ruin Caroline and Tyler's Relationship, and Tyler's life. Used Caroline's best friend and the woman that Stefan supposedly loves as a blood bag, forced Stefan to become a ripper, and loved Stefan's pain in killing people. KILLED AUNT JENNA, oh...KILLED ELENA!?!?!
is responsible for Uncle John, and Isabel's deaths, tried to kill his own family. even his incredibly loyal sister Rebekah, and Elijah...
Forced Stefan to bite Elena, and almost kill her in the gym, then forced him to keep an eye on her, because he relished in Elena's suffering(STEFANS LOVE AND CAROLINES "BEST FRIEND")

Really disappointed in the outcome for all the hybrids. What a lame way to just to dump 11 wage bills in a one-r! That's what it looked like to me - just a culling of the cast for a finale. Complete tosh.

What I'd like to see happen on the show but will likely never happen:
Stefan and Caroline start a relationship.
Klaus kills Tyler.
Jeremy joins Klaus on a badass vampire killing spree around the country.
Damon is killed by Jeremy - I know what you're thinking but he NEEDS to go. There's nothing left for Damon's character and all he does is pine over Elena. It's boring and completely nauseating.
Elijah comes back.
Elijah starts dating Elena.
Just some simple requests I'd like to make to the writers to the show.

Am I the only one upset by the Mayor's death! Tyler lost everything! =(
The Damon letting Elena go thing was dumb after everything but we all knew how lame the Sire bond was!
Klaus being a baddie again, that was good! But wont killing Tyler's Mom completely ruin his chances with Caroline?
We were right about Shane trying to revive Silas. The only upside is knowing we will see Rebekah soon! And Jeremy's arms lol!
Ok this season has been handsdown the biggest let down! Even season 3 was better the first 9 episodes

I'd like to see a relationship between Caroline and Stefan. I actually think they would be the perfect couple.
They have really good chemistry and their relationship is built on mutual trust and respect.
Caroline was the biggest hypocrite though. She understands why Klaus kills and whatnot but can't forgive Damon for anything he's done? Seriously?
This episode was rubbish. The sire bond is inconsistent, last episode we're being told that it doesn't effect feelings but in the very next episode Damon is acting like it does. Why didn't Damon just tell her that she was free to feel what she wanted and it was her choice? Why did he need to tell her to go away, that's just leaving them further apart pining over each other.
I think Shane is either Silas or the best friend who betrayed him. It makes sense as he knows far too much about this guy.

This episode is so confusing... And, I don't think I will say this, but I am HATING Caroline this season. I understand that she hates Damon but she should have minded her own business and not be the tattle tale that breaks the news to Stefan... And, Stefan??? How selfish can you get? I had been shown several times how Damon had selflessly tried to make him happy and now its his brother's turn to be happy, he got all "noble" and convince him to break the sire bond... I know at the beginning that Stefan has been the good guy but it has been proven time and time again that Damon is the one with the heart.

i'm hating stefan this season! i used to love him:( why is it that damon needs to set elena free? why do stefan is so keen on finding the cure? because he wanted elena to love him again!! isn't that the selfish thing to do? when in fact elena doesn't see stefan that way anymore!! this man needs to move on already! also, i can't believe i'm saying this but caroline is so annoying in this episode. she shouldn't meddle with stefan, elena and damon issues. it's none of her business. she has no right to tell stefan that damon and elena are together. she should've let damon or elena tell stefan. she just put another crack on the salvatores' relationship.

Shit its about time !! It only took 2 and a half seasons for Klaus to have a standout badass scene.
I think with Hostess going outta business,that fat hump Julie Plec has offically lost all of her somewhat credibility as a writer.No more Twinkies,Ding dongs,Zingers and Ho Ho's in her routine has made her no longer acceptable to stear VD in this viewers eyes.
*** What a waste of Tyler development this week.He just received the General Zod treatment last week when the hybrids kneeled before him,and BAMM !! Now they're all dead :( ***
If I could go without having to type "Sire bond" or "Hybrid" for the rest of the season i'll be quite happy :)

Okay isn't it wierd and hilarious that the ONLY vampire Jeremy wants to kill is Elena. I mean Damon is standing right there and you would think J would hate him more what with snapping his neck a time or two, killing vicky and all but I guess not.
I know some people hate Elena for trying to break Salvatore bond by dating both of them but when you look at it Lexi and now Caroline has done more to break up D and S than E ever can. Stefan needed to hear it from either Elena or Damon NOT Caroline.
Delena thing was so sad but it was needed to show what they really feet for each other.

Most confusing episode on TVD.
That being said, isn't Mayor Lockwood (totally forgot her name) a founding family? Doesn't she have a ring that helps her agains supernatural death?
On another note, when a couple breaks up, common friends have to choose side and clealy, Caroline chose hers, Stephen. Why can't she be happy for Elena? (I'm a Delena fan all the way)

I never said that the Sire bond or the Damon-Elena thing is good. I just said this sire bond is a new thing and i get the way Damon is acting!
Why make it just so easy for DElena!? The sire bond thing is on the other hand the only thing why I can Imagine Elena scre*ing is cause she is kind of compeled. Elena would always look out for Stephan and not jump to Damon so fast. SHE is the CARRYING ONE!
Yes Elena had instant attraction to Damon and if she knew that she probably wouldn't start things with Stephan. but that doesn't erase her feelings for Stephan.

Spindae and Gibbles... Matt is not wrong. It is just so confusing and ridiculous. We know that Elena has feelings for Damon and Stefan. At the end of season 3 she chose Stefan because that is who she thought she met first and who she wanted. I cheered when that happened because she finally made a decision and I was all gung ho about that. But then Julie and her merry band of writers went to go and screw that up with this whole Sire bond thing. It leaves the writer scratching their heads, she chose Stefan but she does have feelings for Damon, that was established but then all of a sudden she is in love with Damon and her feelings for Stefan are receeding. Its just a very contrived way of keeping the triangle active for another 3 seasons. Its idiotic. What would have been better is if they forgot this sire bond crap and wrote it so that Elena realizes that Damon was the first Salvatore she saw and is drawn to him.

Ok this is enough! I have always been rooting for Delena but not anymore. The look on Stefans face when Caroline told him about Elena and Damon was more than heart-wrenching! Just stop this storyline with Delena! It doesn't feel right and authentic and it is not supposed to be!
I thought the writers would develop a really romantic love story about delena but that's just not the case!
I felt so sorry for Stefan. Damon was all "Ohh this would be so much more fun i we were naked" or "I wanna throw you back in my bed and never let you leave" Seriously?! Is that the only thing he thinks bout?!!
PLEASE GIVE US STELENA BACK!

I really love this review. Not because I agree with the aspects brought up e.g sire bond, vintage Klaus or Jeremy being a mes, but because I struggle a LOT of the time when my favourite TV shows confuse me.
The past 2 episodes I'ven been lost at some points. Especially as Matt mentioned with Damon's decision at the end of the ep. And, I too, do not care.
I feel like it's just one just-opened storyline being pushed aside without any closure.
Usually I always have faith the writers come through and bring all plots and storys together and it turns out epic, but now I'm not so sure.
P.S why exactly did Klaus kill all his hybrids? I can't remember if he found out they're all un-sired or if Hayley said something about Shane's

I thought Elena was all about free will. And her being sired to Damon is not free will. This show is just getting so stupid with all the ways they want to drag out this love triangle. We are going to start getting into Gossip Girl territory here. Lame!

@dewdrop i agree, i too can't see this show continuing any further. there's nothing else to cover and the show has lost its way. i agree too with a previous comment about plec not having the balls to permanently removing klaus from the show!! this cure still hasn't been explained properly and the only consequence it seems is silas. yet no one has asked shane for his age and whether or not he had the cure and is in fact living immorality too? why has no one thought to compel or something, inconsistency strikes again!

to sum it up short because i have given up with plec and trying to review her mishap of plots:
positives - finally more intel on the silas story
- we found out klaus is in wit =h the prof
- becs is back with her buddy april
- caroline n stefan agreed that they felt bad for klaus (poss siring there because kath turned by someone who was turned by klaus...?)
negatives - the episode was to confusing to follow! doesn't matter who you ship (at this point i ship nobody because they all deserve to walk alone)
caroline again being annoying and overstepping boundary in telling stefan (wished haley did the job properly! her character has declined to matter little atm)
damon not destroying the bond completely (again plec inconsistent) and elena not completely following damon this episode making me question is this sire bullshit real?

I didn't like this episode very much due to the fact that too much attention was given to the lakehouse! instead of half the episode 1/4 of time would suffice-i got bored and disappointed with Damon's release. One thing salvaged the episode... KLAUS! The one and only.. Joseph Morgan owned the whole episode as well as he is most likely the star of the season so far. It is so abnormal what they ve done- The villain of the show is much more interesting and important than the 3 main characters! Whether he is wooing Caroline or massacring people he is the most memorable part of an episode! Ships wars apart,Klaus demise will also sign the end of TVD.

Seriously Matt, what a whingeing review. I usually love your reviews, but i think you need to move on from the sire bond gimmick.
The sire bond gimmick is actually very clever. There are loads of gorgeous women around who express a fear at becoming dependent on a man. This is an extreme and fated form of dependence. There is no way it would lead to a good or healthy relationship. They cannot be together. Right now. Its that simple.
Obviously the alternative is NOT that they will yearn and pine and die apart. They will find a cure to the sire bond. More goals more project s what fun!
So stop whingeing MAtt.
I dont get why Klaus had to samurai the twelve, or rather why Silas' best friend Professor Shane, had them killed.
Stefan is a dick. He cant see any difference between Damon/himself and Klaus. Klaus kills for fun. Its all about intention. Why doesnt Stefan see that. Dumb as a vampire stake?
Agree the Tyler Alpha thing was rushed and thin.

U can't compare Tyler and Elena. Tyler fancyed Klaus a lot at the begging! He was completely compeled to him. And he saw his mistake just when he hurt C and bit her wereWolf style. And he didn't hated him in the begging as stated last week!
Damon doesn't want his heart to get broken and I get it. He isn't sure if Elenas new feelings are result of honest feelings or because of the sire bond. He is the bigger man or he tries to be it at least.
And here I would be mad at elena she is the slu1. Just humpping on damon with Stephan still there.
So easy into the Delena story and we allknow there aren't here to last.
Totally feel cheated and played by the writer. she wants to string both Stelena and Delena fans along by dragging out the triangle. Now it's backfired. we can see either Stelena or Delena fans are happy.

The sire bond thing with Elena and Damon makes absolutely no sense, they were looking for a way to spice up the love triangle but honestly I think it failed big time. I'm more interested in the Caroline-Tyler-Klaus love triangle. Can't wait for the showdown between Tyler and Klaus. And Klaus was just AMAZING as usual, one of my fav characters. Now about the cure, I think it can do more than just turn human into vampires, I have a feeling it can resurrect the dead. If you think about it, the whole speech Prof Shane guy gave to Haley about her parents being dead and that it didn't mean she would never see them again and when he said to Elena his family died and he misses them... Plus technically vampires are dead, right? So it should be able to cure any kind of dead. And I have a feeling Jeremy mind need to kill 12 vampires in order to complete the mark. I do wonder what that number actually means, though.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.

Seriously Matt, what a whingeing review. I usually love your reviews, but i think you need to move on from the sire bond gimmick.
The sire bond gimmick is actually very clever. There are loads of gorgeous women around who express a fear at becoming dependent on a man. This is an extreme and fated form of dependence. There is no way it would lead to a good or healthy relationship. They cannot be together. Right now. Its that simple.
Obviously the alternative is NOT that they will yearn and pine and die apart. They will find a cure to the sire bond. More goals more project s what fun!
So stop whingeing MAtt.
I dont get why Klaus had to samurai the twelve, or rather why Silas' best friend Professor Shane, had them killed.
Stefan is a dick. He cant see any difference between Damon/himself and Klaus. Klaus kills for fun. Its all about intention. Why doesnt Stefan see that. Dumb as a vampire stake?
Agree the Tyler Alpha thing was rushed and thin.

U can't compare Tyler and Elena. Tyler fancyed Klaus a lot at the begging! He was completely compeled to him. And he saw his mistake just when he hurt C and bit her wereWolf style. And he didn't hated him in the begging as stated last week!
Damon doesn't want his heart to get broken and I get it. He isn't sure if Elenas new feelings are result of honest feelings or because of the sire bond. He is the bigger man or he tries to be it at least.
And here I would be mad at elena she is the slu1. Just humpping on damon with Stephan still there.
So easy into the Delena story and we allknow there aren't here to last.

Totally feel cheated and played by the writer. she wants to string both Stelena and Delena fans along by dragging out the triangle. Now it's backfired. we can see either Stelena or Delena fans are happy.

The sire bond thing with Elena and Damon makes absolutely no sense, they were looking for a way to spice up the love triangle but honestly I think it failed big time. I'm more interested in the Caroline-Tyler-Klaus love triangle. Can't wait for the showdown between Tyler and Klaus. And Klaus was just AMAZING as usual, one of my fav characters. Now about the cure, I think it can do more than just turn human into vampires, I have a feeling it can resurrect the dead. If you think about it, the whole speech Prof Shane guy gave to Haley about her parents being dead and that it didn't mean she would never see them again and when he said to Elena his family died and he misses them... Plus technically vampires are dead, right? So it should be able to cure any kind of dead. And I have a feeling Jeremy mind need to kill 12 vampires in order to complete the mark. I do wonder what that number actually means, though.
