I loved loved loved this episode! Definitely the best one of the season so far, and a great way to return! My favorite scene was Annie getting shot. Did you notice the first person that she looked at??? LIAM!!! That was great. And Vanessa tearing up at the end made me fall in love with the character. I wish she would stay on the show and be good friends with Annie.

I loved all of the Ivy references, seeing as she was my favorite character. I really like how they aren't pretending that the old characters never existed. For example, Naomi's mom! I was so surprised! It was really cool to see that. Annalynne did an awesome job acting those serious scenes. It was nice to see that.

I didn't notice that Navid wasn't in the episode... I love Michael Steger so I hope they do something good with his character soon.

Definitely looking forward to next week's episode. Not only will Adam Gregory be on, but also Chris Zylka! It's cool that they were able to get him even though he was only in

I liked this episode. Obviously Liam and Annie were my favorite part. Even though they had few scenes, they were perfection. Just perfect! Vanessa still maybe runner up for psycho skank, but when her eyes teared up I had a complete change of heart about her. A total 180. Dixon and Ade drama should just end like that. Silver and Teddy, I'm still upset that their friendship could possibly end in the gutter. Seeing Naomi with this type of material was nice. I liked her semi breakdown in front of her mom. It was raw and emotional, and yes, not for comic relief. No Navid...doesn't really matter.

I really liked this episode! I am glad that they did not drag out the Liam being kidnapped storyline.
First Dixon is in a car accident and not Annie was shot, the Wilson kids are not having a good year! I am sure she will be fine, I think I want to see her with Liam too!
I like Silver but was not impressed with anything she did in this episode. While I do think Teddy is being unfair to her as he knew the situation going in and then he changes his mind, Silver still should not have done what she did!
It was good seeing Naomi as emotional as she was.
I do agree that Biker Boy was hot and I love the Sons of Anarchy reference. Am I the only one that watches both SOA and 90210?

Ha! I didn't even notice Navid was missing.

I am also on the Vanessa-isn't-so-cray-cray anymore train.

Another surprise for me was that my favorite part of this episode actually invovled Dixon. I absolutely loved when Dixon finally said what everyone has been thinking to Silver... maybe she's just not ready to be a mother. It's not like she has a job or has been anything close to responsible lately.

... On another good note, NO NAVID! Fantastic episode!

I assume this was meant to be the original mid-season finale and that the Sandy hurricane delayed such a good episode! Gotta say that I loved it. Season 5 is really picking up.
If I recall, Jen Clark was written out of the show and they noted she "moved to France for treatment" for a nervous breakdown due to her (and Harry's) fake son, Sean. Either way, I enjoyed the scenes between Naomi and her mom. Mostly Naomi's Ivy's references. Perhaps a hint she'll be back soon?
Liam and Annie better get back together now; as you've stated in the review, she took a bullet for him! Not to mention, the past few episodes have hinted at it. Sucks for Riley, but he never really stood a chance.
I'm really feeling bad for Silver. I don't know why Teddy agreed to do such a drastic move to begin with, but I don't blame him for wanting parental rights. Either way, they're both in for a WHOLE world of trouble now.
I really want to comment on Addixon, but even I am over the drama. On another good note, N

This was a great episode! And I actually liked Vanessa too, didn't think that was possible.
I didn't even notice Navid wasn't in the episode until you pointed it out. It's not that I don't like him but there's nothing interesting going on with him so..

And yey, so many Ivy references in the episode. I miss her so much!

"Oh, good God! He thinks we're Ivy!"

    YEY LANNIE FTW!

Such a awesome way to kick-start the second half of the season. Erin's so desperate and crazy at this point, I just couldn't stand trying to destroy everything in her path: her friends, her friendship with Teddy, and Teddy's already strained relations with his family.

Nice to see Naomi's mom again, although I was already spoiled with the news bit that she's coming back for an episode, I didn't expect she would appear as early as 5x10 and how tearjerking those reunion scenes turn out to be.

I think it'd be a nice change of pace for the writers to do a "what if" dream episode (and it's Annie-centric). The last time they did a sorta dream sequence was Navid(?), who was MIA again in this episode, back in season 2.

And yes, Naomi and Ade's season 1 drama was also front and center as well. Kinda miss the thing they used to have in Season 1.

Great return! Too bad it's going to be followed by what looks like the most horrendous episode to date since the writers clearly ran out of ideas. It just seems like a cop out and a waste of an hour. It was nice seeing Vanessa's good side for a change! That was a sweet moment when she was tearing up in the end after Annie got shot. It reminds me why I love Arielle. I'm not happy with the silver and teddy storyline. Their friendship used to be one of the most fun relationships on the show. I always loved when it was front and center. So I'm not excited to have that ruined :( and I don't see why they have to ruin max and Naomi and bring on this new guy. It's unnecessary.
