Awkward Season 3 Casting Scoop: Anthony Michael Hall and Nolan Funk!

Anthony Michael Hall and Nolan Funk have both been cast on Awkward.

The beloved Breakfast Club actor will come on board the underrated MTV hit as Mr. Hart, “a sadistic creative writing teacher that pushes the students out of their comfort zones," according to the network casting call.

Funk (Glee), meanwhile, will portray a confident new prep school transfer.

Awkward - a TV Fanatic favorite - returns this summer for a super-sized third season. It will feature 20 episodes.
