I would just like to point out that in the article above it states this about episode 11, " 'Shabbat Shalom' incidentally, was watched by 21.11 million people, the highest-rated episode of NCIS Season 10 so far and one of only a dozen or so to crack the 21 million mark in series history." So all you Ziva haters, apparently people like to watch emotionally charged episodes with good plot and exceptional acting performances. Besides Cote de Pablo's phenomonal performance I also think that the work of Rocky Carroll, Paula Newsome, Michael Nouri and Mark Harmon was extraordinary.

It seems that Michael doesn't like any characters on NCIS because no matter who the main character is for the episode, he has something bad to say about them. Maybe he should become a fan for another show.

I agree with you completely! Ziva is what really makes the show great in my opinion. If you aren't happy with what is happening in the show Nd with the characters, just stop what hint and find something els to drag on about!

I think that Michael and the rude comments he makes should be banned from this site.
He is a giant ass and I have NO respect for his hate for Ziva ALWAYS that comes out of his mouth.
He is disgusting and I will not return to this site because of him.

I have said it before and I will say it again-Why do people continue to watch a show that incites so much rage in them? I used to watch Grey's Anatomy & then when I got irritated with some of the characters I stopped watching. I didn't go on fan boards & constantly whine about the characters & actors that I hated, I moved on and shut the tv off. Simple as that! If you are not watching 75% of a show because you hate one of the main characters, why continue to watch? And as for Cote de Pablo's talent, I find her to be extremely talented & a wonderful actress. I fully expect her to win awards one day. So take your hate speak & go somewhere else. Or find a hobby & move on from NCIS & leave us in peace.

I Never said 20 million people watch the show because of Ziva I did say that 20 million other people love Ziva and don't wish for her to die and frankly I wasnt even talking to you I was talking to "scientist" who believes that Ziva should've died. Oh and when people say they wish Zivas character had died, she's a bad role model, and fasts forwards through all Ziva parts because they think Cote can't act that is called hating. :)

I really don't like people who are hating on Ziva, I try to respect others opinions but jeez these irrational opinions about ziva are just stupid to me. If you want Ziva to die stop watching NCIS they don't need fans like you they have another 20 million fans that love ziva and they will still be the number one show with out you very very few haters watching it. Have to agree, the Ziva character is a violent and terrible role model.
The worst part about it is that the actress does it with such horrible, overacting ...its so painful to watch. I fast forward scenes with Ziva in it.

Poor Vance. As for Ziva...her father got what was coming to him....violence begets violences, and the bad karma should have killed Ziva already...she is a horrible, horrible example of a human being.

@Cind Tony and ZIva will not fall into bed, but I do believe we will get some good moments between them.
@gatorgal, The character of Jackie Vance, was listed on who would appear in Shiva and also spoiled in one of the articles on this site. I am guessing it will be in flashbacks.

@Cind- I have no doubt this will bring Tony and Ziva closer, but I doubt the rest of your wish. However, from pictures posted for the ep, it is clear that Tony took Ziva to his place that night as she is there in the morning wearing the same clothes she wore at work the day before, before she changed for dinner. Gibbs shows up at the apt. in the morning, so he knows she's there. I was pissed Ziva seemed to be left alone while everyone was at the hospital, but I think that's where she was. In 2 hrs, Eli's body would have been taken "somewhere" and Ziva was taken to Tony's apartment.

When you look at the stats, Jackie Vance has been in a total of 5, maybe 6 episodes the entire series. I understand she is on another show, it could be a contractural thing and they gave her a "Swan Song", just as Kate was killed because Sasha Alexander wanted off the show.

@Cody Where did you hear Jackie appears in "Shiva"? If she does, it will be Vance remembering their spat in the kitchen, how they never really got the chance to make up. I agree, Vance will be the grieving widower and rock for his children. Ziva will be the one for revenge, as we know from the promo, but that final scene of her taking those shots at night was from "Shabbat Shalom", I think it was inserted to make us think she goes all crazy. I think she will reluctantly play it by the book under a tight control by Gibbs with some on the side help from Tony.

Whether or not Vance stays or goes, who knows. On the other hand, his part is to appear adversarial to Gibbs, but they are also very close in their own sort of odd way. If you look back at older episodes (beyond their very first meeting, you'll see that although they often don't agree, they've never failed to be there for each other.

I keep wondering if past episodes of NCIS LA is setting the stage for assistant director Granger to take over for Vance. They have made him (Granger) more likable recently, and he gave Kensi a speech a few shows back about wanting to be more than just "assistant director". In light of what happened last night, does this exit Vance from the show with Granger taking over? I am very curious about he would get along with Gibbs.

I think you can assume NCIS will be back for AT LEAST one more year--it's the number one show on television with about 20 million viewers every week. I don't they would cancel a golden goose unless Mark Harmon or multiple other main cast members decided to leave.

This was a shock,but, intense . Ziva and dinozo should become closer, Dinozo while comforting her the should fall into bed together. Maybe a babyin. But, she stays in Ncis . Or something like that.
