Rena Sofer Cast as Queen Eva on Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time has cast a new queen.
Veteran actress Rena Sofer (NCIS, 24, Covert Affairs) has been cast in the key role of Snow White's mother, TV Guide reports, a character who will solely be seen via flashback.
Sofer will appear in an early March episode that also brings back the incredible Bailee Madison as a young Snow. Look for this mother to have an unexpected connection to an already-established character.
Of course, Regina ended up marrying Snow's father, so we know Queen Eva isn't long for the fairy tale world. But what leads to her demise?
That's an answer Once Upon a Time fans can't wait to find out.
