Nice job, Mimi!
Your English is good, some small issues on occasion with grammer, but nothing major. I enjoyed it. I liked your narrative style. I like how the scene in the crow's nest would require a lot of non-verbal communication; both Baker and Tunney are good at achieving. It was a nice mix of agápe, philia, storgē with éros remaining unspoken but keenly present. You should be chuffed, my dear.

Yeah, his eyes do change - but so do mine, it depends what I wear. Anger or sadness (tears specially) make my usually grey-blue eyes very blue! My husband is sooo totally aware of this, it's not even funny anymore LOL.

well if you read it I'd love for a feedback, critics to what you think they would have said/done or not. I hesitated at the end, you'll see why. the purpose was to actually "get" the characters and being able to reproduce sthg with them.

Eye color is really perceived by us as individuals. It is probably safe to safe he has what science would describe as very light-mixed (blue with gray or green or green with gray) eyes, hence their ability to appear different colors at times. If I remember the science right it is caused by the color beneath the iris in the stroma. Without a stitch on in front of a white wall (or sheet) they likely come across as a greenish shade to he and his beloved.

Love his eyes in the snap in the grey suit with his glasses. I forget which gene it is that gives chameleon blue eyes, as opposed to the other gene for blue eyes. I should know it. My partner and kiddos have them; sometimes blue, sometimes green, sometimes grey, smetimes amber-ish depending on lighting and back ground color (especially attire). Le sigh, mine are not heavenly fashion accessories. Dark green is nice, though.

Re hypnosis I think that Jane hypnotized the teenage girl of the "bad kids" in "Something Rotton in Redmund" (4*20). I'm guessing that Lorelei's mind would not be open to it and that she would be wise to any attempts.

@mimi: setting things strait: I am Swiss, but live in western Canada. So I can watch the show 4 times, because we're 4 hours behind atlantic Canada. Yes, it's a little bigger than Belgium or Switzerland LOL! I'll be in CH this summer, so who knows - he might be in Paris for a Longines add or something? Let's go chase him down together!!!

I agree with you, that he wouldn't try hypnosis on Lorelei. But it's true, he doesn't do it at all anymore - the whole vibe of the show changed a bit in my eyes. Wonder where they're going with it. Next epi should be fun! Have to get the kids to bed early (it's on at 7.00 pm on CTV already - and if my husband lets me I can watch it again at 9.00pm and at 10.00pm :-)

@Mimi I agree, the cup is too small, that's why I use it with my espresso machine. Really best for a double, not a cappuccino, I use that generically, sorry. However, the manufacturer does make a jumbo cup and saucer in peacock. I ordered that too, it's quite jumbo and heavy, but not quite the same, the handle especially is quite different. Oh well. I like jumbo too, and have a little collection of different patterns. The term "jumbo" covers quite an unexpected range of sizes I've learned!
