Caroline is awful lately. She completely betrayed Elena. I like the Stefan/ Rebekah Dynamic. I thought the I love you to Damon was way too soon. My thoughts exactly. I hoped Stefan would move on but NO... this is SO annoying, really. And I never liked Bonnie, but this sheepish following of everything Shane says is a whole new level!
Best part of the episode: Klaus and Rebekah. Just perfect. I hope they somehow are able to come around later this season, so they team up again. They're just awesome.

A clear attempt by the writers to keep the ship alive at the time and most people (if being unbiased) will see it as clear as day. The Damon we met at the start of the series would have never done that....NEVER. He would have compelled the shit out of her to be his little amusement. Want proof, rewatch 1x03 Friday night lights when Damon tried to compel her to like him. That flask back scene was so out of character for him at the time it was just a plain DE shipper hand out FAIL!
I was all KACHOW! when Elena saw that Caroline is not her best friend any more, she is Stefans best friend. Which is a whole new layer of betrayal between the two of them. Caroline was so out of line telling Stefan about Elena & Damons 'activities'....but at least now Elena knows she can't trust her to be on her side about anything any more. I loved Caroline last season...but she's falling out of favor quickly and I just wish her and Stefan would hook up already (and leave Tyler to be with someone, anyone, else. Because for all the dick moves on Tyler's part...she is more invested in Stefans life than that of her boyfriend.
I am so annoyed with the turn of Stefan's character. I mean just shut.up.dude. I thought Elena's description of feeling like a broken toy in need of fixing was so on point. Stefan's problem has always been the need to keep Elena this perfect thing in his life. Never wanting her to be involved, always wanting to keep her away from the reality of his life, always wanting her to be this perfect human that's all for him. Too bad Damon took her out of the box and played with her (boom. I went there). Stefan and Elena can't just be what they were, and I'm going to need Stefan to realize that. Into the crazy , drama filled life of being with a vampire. That was very selfless. Then enters Stephen who can't stay away from her because she looked just like Catherine. He needed to "know her". Damon feel for Elena along the way but kept his distance while always protecting her, even when it was from Stephen. Damon loves Elena unconditionally. You know this because unlike Stephen who loved her as a human but can't stand her as a vampire , Damon loves her either way. That's why he to is looking for the cure. No, seriously, now that I think of it, Elena and Damon are both so selfish and self-obsorbed they belong together because with all the "concern" they share for their respective siblings, they care more about their own feelings above anyone else. This episode proved more than ever what a selfish bitch Elena is. Fine, thanks to the "specifically for Delena wusses" written dialogue in this episode we found out she still loves Stefan and not in love with him anymore. Good, whatever, finally we sorted it out. But to start saying No! when Stefan wants his memories errased by Becks....thats low, and five mins later she calls Damon and is all like yeah Stefan did not take the news well, but screw it lets talk about how I luff you........I am so glad Stefan walked out of there not looking back at that little selfish bitch. This show shits all over family bonds. Not one family relationship has remained untouched. Even Elena and Jer's relationship has suffered so much over the seasons. Stefan and Day Day are over (yet again) and the originals are as divided as ever. What exactly is this show promoting if not the strong bonds that a family should have? Oh yeah...i forgot....chasing the girl and screwing over your brother (whether it be Stef or Day). No morals whatsoever. How can the writers justify this kind of behaviour? But in all honesty, it would be so hypocritical of Plec to have one of them get the girl and have the brothers relationship still solid. They have placed each other under the bus too many times for it to be forgiven now. Its either neither get the girl or if one gets her then its only fair that the brothers distance themselves. After all is said and done i'm no longer a strong advocate for Defan. Too much has happened.

First off which irks me about this whole dumbass shit wars is DE fans have the audacity to say now Stefan knows hows it feels and that's not the case.
Damon was a effing interloper who develop feelings for someone he shouldn't had in the first place so all the effing heartache was his own fault. Stefan was with Elena first point blank and I would be effing upset too as she just told him like two or three week he was best choice she ever and made and now she contradicted herself. And why the hell should Stefan allow DE to have smooth sailing when Damon never gave him the same courtesy? She sounds like she is crazy like Blair Waldorf season 5 crazy making two very absolutes that contradict one another and she in this episode contradicted early statements she made about her feelings for Damon in this season.

I'm loving every minute of Stefan being stubborn and not getting it in his head until its concrete cement that Elena is into Damon because it took ssssoo long and so much heart-eating to get us to Damon!! Elena isn't being selfish or acting like a bitch, she's always been a compassionate person who cares about her family and the lives of other people, she cares about doing the right thing by them. You can't control who you love and it's undeniably been Damon for a while. And that happens in real life! All the time! People grow, change, don't fit together the same anymore. Elena has been upfront about it since she admitted it to herself despite the resistance of everyone else. She may need to realize she doesn't get to ask Stefan to wait up and talk anymore, though. But I don't even mind that. Damon hearing Elena say I Love You? Best face he has ever, ever made. I can't wait for him to get the love he has coming to him.

I found my mind wandering during this episode. They've really got to do more to grab viewers' attention. The love triangle is getting dull. The weekly cliff-hangers turn out to be nothing the following week. Spice it up, writers!!! Vampires are surely more evil and fun than this. Damon used to be a joy to watch.

This show is absolutely the furthest thing from "boring"... Haha Im thrilled to finally both love the show and love the main relationship.. Damon and Elena! They both can blossom now, and so can everyone else. This show was always a teenage soap opera, how are some of you only just realizing it? And for complaining that Elena "just stopped loving Stefan to love his brother" as I recall she has been falling for him for seasons now from when it was just a hateful fascination to curiosity and fear and anger and irresistable, undeniable attraction... stuff the most fiery passions are built on! She is discovering the depths of herself that Stefan himself doesn't contain to relate to and could never have revealed to her, despite what he might write down in his gooey angsty journal. Whatever the critics say, I LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!! Really enjoyed seeing Rebekah,(I really love her character and feel for her), Matt, Jeremy and Damon in action together, Klaus as badass as he should be, and the best dialogue was Damon saying, "Get into the car. Come to me." Those who're saying this is too sudden, Elena and Damon?? It took three and a half freakin' seasons for it to happen, not a few episodes!

Scrolling through the comments and wow, so much hate on Elena. I honestly don't understand the hate the girl gets. Obviously, being a vampire has changed her and she's made her mind up about who she loves. Funny how all of you are kissing Stefan's ass. Damon has done HORRIBLE things duh but what about Stefan? You say we bring up other characters' worst parts to make Damon seem better but it's true. Stefan's no angel either so why the hypocrisy? I didn't know being a ripper was SO different from what Damon was, actually it's worse because Damon didn't dedicate a wall to all his victims. Anyway, so glad Elena told the truth. Harsh but needed. I am very very happy with the all the relationship developments, especially every infintisimal moment between Damon and Elena!! even though I also enjoy the other subplots in the show. I love how characters are transforming and evolving and I think it's really special that Damon shows with his actions how much being worthy and right for Elena means to him, I can't wait to see them get to truly enjoy each other. As for fans trying to diss on Damon for his past "unforgivable" actions, are they forgetting Stefan the Ripper is like the worst blood thirstiest serial killer who lacks the ability to control himself using human blood? He has too many vampiric bed wetting/premature ejaculation issues compared to the dark yet redeemably elegant Damon. Damon knows how to both be a badass ruthless man AnD buckle down for the woman of his heart. I was team Stelena since day 1 but from what it looks like, we will never have them together again so I am boarding the Delena train.

Klaus is back in all his bad ass glory.
I am still not a huge fan of Rebekah but she and Stefan will hook up so I will have to like her!

I have to applaud Paul Wesley for portraying Stefan's pain so well. And Damon's fave after his phone call with Elena... phenomenal!

I am very very happy with the all the relationship developments, especially every infintisimal moment between Damon and Elena!! even though I also enjoy the other subplots in the show. I love how characters are transforming and evolving and I think it's really special that Damon shows with his actions how much being worthy and right for Elena means to him, I can't wait to see them get to truly enjoy each other. As for fans trying to diss on Damon for his past "unforgivable" actions, are they forgetting Stefan the Ripper is like the worst blood thirstiest serial killer who lacks the ability to control himself using human blood? He has too many vampiric bed wetting/premature ejaculation issues compared to the dark yet redeemably elegant Damon. Damon knows how to both be a badass ruthless man AnD buckle down for the woman of his heart. I love all the originals, i hope they all come together as loving, understanding, appreciative family by the end of their storyline. I hope Rebekah finds

I like this episode, I think it is right time to move on with Stelna and just ended it for some time. Realy clear the area. Now is time for Delena, and it's realy good plot because all of the drama when Elena became human again. Witch one she will choose? I bet there will be a lot of coments and ideas about it. We will be arguing. And that is the point. Talk.

I quite enjoyed this episode. I am so glad the show is back.
I was team Stelena since day 1 but from what it looks like, we will never have them together again so I am boarding the Delena train.
I am sure Bonnie's dad has ulterior motives, why else is he back in Mystic Falls?!?
Klaus is back in all his bad ass glory.
I am still not a huge fan of Rebekah but she and Stefan will hook up so I will have to like her!
I am looking forward to next week.
