Great news, Private Practice fans: KaDee Strickland will soon be headed once again for a living room near you.
This TV Fanatic favorite has joined the cast of NBC's Bloodline, an unusual drama that centers on Skyler Samuels as Bird Benson, a strong young girl who gets caught in a major struggle between warrior families in current day suburbia.
Strickland will portray Bird's mother, Stella Killpriest, described by TV Guide as a "loose cannon with an epic attachment disorder." Look for this character to raise her own army and rise up against her father, played by the great Jonathan Banks.
In other casting news: Mike Vogel will headline Under the Dome on CBS.
Already set with a 13-episode order for this summer, the series is based on a Stephen King novel and will center on a town that is suddenly encased by a giant shield.
The ex-Pan Am star will appear as Dale “Barbie” Barbara, an Army veteran who arrives on a mysterious mission. He joins a cast that includes Jolene Purdy, Nicholas Strong, Britt Robertson, Alex Kotch and Natalie Martinez.
