But if it turns out as many of you predict, Damon turning human because of the cure, i am wondering if the cure is in "the system" forever because if it isnt then they (a vampire) could just turn Damon back to being a vampire, right? I mean, is the cure turning an immortal to human FOREVER or whats the deal? Just some thoughts...

Maybe the sire bond is broken somehow and Elena is still in love with Damon. Damon knowing that she is truly in love with him is something that can potentially change his character. Stefan would also be devastated if he came to realize that Elena no longer loved him and that all hope of getting Elena back was lost.

I think the third sacrifice will be the hunters. In other words, Jeremy dies. Elena will turn to the dark side, the tragic death of her brother will break her sire bond to Damon, and she won't want to be with him anymore.
Jeremy dying does not necessarily mean that he will be killed off of the show. Does he maybe die at the hands of another vampire? Maybe. Is Damon the one that sets the hunters deaths in motion? Maybe. In this case, Jeremy will stick around to haunt Damon- that would be interesting.

Julie Plec stated a while ago that their goal was to make the show not like the books because they have to keep the show running for as long as possible. So the deaths that happen in the book I don't think will happen in the show unless they become more creative and put twists on their deaths. Having a show be exactly like the books would be very predictable. And I think we can all agree that these writers main goal is to make things as shocking and unpredictable as possible. So expect the unexpected. Every episode ends with a jaw dropping scene. I think they will shock us all. I'm excited to see what's to come!!

lol no one is dying, I don't get how people are getting that from what she said. My guess is they FIND the cure, Elena TAKES the cure, and then FORGETS her history with Stefan and Damon. Or at least with Damon (eg, forgets her time as a vampire upon becoming human again).

I hope Damon doesn't become a human. People like him because he is a badass vampire. I can't imagine him without fangs he will be slightly cool version of lame human Matt.

I think Damon will die, so they others will join Shane not just in looking for the cure but in raising Silas so he can raise the dead. Then Damon will brought back to life but will maybe be human? This will break the sire bond. The cure will be destroyed, Elena will remain a vampire and Klaus will leave for the spin off because there's no hope of him making any more hybrids.

I think Jeremy it's going to die. Maybe he is the third sacrifice (a hunter with a complete tattoo). That's why Caroline it's worried for Elena state of mind in 4x15! Just saying!

Damon becoming human again (by taking the cure or dying) - that would be an interesting twist! It would even make me want to watch TVD again and not only to read recaps...

I just hope Delena stays together. Haven't really seen them together much. But whatever it is I am sure it will have to change something about their situation.At least Damon, Stefan and Elena.

If Damon does take the cure and the sire bond is broken, then Elena and Damon can be together without anybody thinking that is why and they can shut up about it. At least I hope they will.Love them together. I liked the show before her and Damon were together, but now that they are I love it, always wanted them together. Just hope we get to actually get to see them more, haven't lately and it sucks.
I think that Rebekah somehow gets the cure to Klaus, he takes it and all the people in his line are turned human, he is still werewolf though. The trio is turned human, as well as Caroline and Katherine.

I bet it's Damon who becomes human, I mean that would change a hell a lot things because Damon is the one person who wants to be a vampire most, just imagine what that would do to him if he was human?!

As much as I want Bonnie gone for good, I don't think her death would have a great impact on Stefan or Damon.
And I hope they don't even dare to think about killing Caroline!! (And again, at least Damon wouldn't be too sad about it, so I think she's safe.)
I have my money on Damon becoming human.

if you have read the books, there's a bit when Damon becomes Human by mistakenly taken the cure that was for Stefan, at this time Elena had been a vampire died and came back to life as human(with some powers not a witch a guardian/angel. Damon becomes a vampire again. I wouldn't like Damon to stay Human he's amazing as a vampire.

Damon is turning human for sure. He's been the least vocal about what he will do with the cure- only thinking of finding it for Elena rather than what implies for himself. It would eliminate this sire bond nonsense and we all know that Damon's secret is that he misses being human more than anything else in the world. The main objective of this season is to find the cure, but it is also to figure out the truth surrounding the sire bond and to eventually break it. Obviously they wouldn't kill or send either Damon or Elena away, but turning one of them human with the cure would resolve everything. Giving the cure to Elena is too obvious and they know that. The fandom wouldn't appreciate such a lack of creativity and they would ultimately be back peddling on making Elena a vampire in the first place. Turning Damon, however, would be an interesting turn of events. It's just a shame that most of us have kind of caught on to the direction of things. I promise you though, this is what is going

Am I the only one who does not want Damon as human? I prefer badass, strong Vampire than weak human. I love Damon so much and if he dies and comes back as human I would adjust to it but I won't like it. I like Damon the way he is...And I just hope this whole cure thing is fake..LOL. What happen when they find that there was no cure at all? LOL.

i read in some other comment that you had made talking about Tatia, and i was like who is this tatia? i had to look her up and then found out haha.
the only person i remember was "really" affected by a death was Damon and it was for Alaric. it was like for 2 or 3 episodes. thats it (but thats considered a lot in this show)
now Damon will be affected if something happens to Stefan, Elena, or himself. so I'm assuming something will happen to one of these 3

I think the third sacrifice will be the hunters. In other words, Jeremy dies. Elena will turn to the dark side, the tragic death of her brother will break her sire bond to Damon, and she won't want to be with him anymore.
Jeremy dying does not necessarily mean that he will be killed off of the show. Does he maybe die at the hands of another vampire? Maybe. Is Damon the one that sets the hunters deaths in motion? Maybe. In this case, Jeremy will stick around to haunt Damon- that would be interesting.

As much as I want Bonnie gone for good, I don't think her death would have a great impact on Stefan or Damon.
And I hope they don't even dare to think about killing Caroline!! (And again, at least Damon wouldn't be too sad about it, so I think she's safe.)
