Its Bonnie. I think its her, only because her death would impact them all more than anyone else.Also Damon does care, he just doesn't want anyone to know it. I hope Delena makes it, absolutely love them together.

Think about it, has to be Bonnie that is the only person that would really affect them all. They always need her powers. Without them, they would probably all be dead. Love DELENA...

Just a little information for all of you so called fans of the show......There is no Salvatore brother named Stephan....his name is STEFAN and Carolines boyfriend is TYLER not Taylor. Thank God all of you "fans" are given us your opinion of what will happen when you don't even know the characters names. To all the people posting that know the names of the characters....thank you for actually paying attention when you watch.

Damon would be the one that takes the cure and becomes a human.
My guess is some how Elena is either compelled (by Rebecca) or cursed and forgets the love she has for Damon and Stephen. My other guess is the vampire hunter that figures out the tattoo and gets to "Silas" and the cure turns into Silas, meaning Jeremy turns evil. That way Damon, Stephen and Elena lose everyone they love. Damon may become human, but if you look at some of the pictures they released for upcoming shows, shows him with a vampire bite on his neck, so maybe he turns back.

I think Elena will be killed off, she was killed in the book series after killing Katherine but is later given another chance to be brought back to life.

Tbh a lot of people have died this season, Pastor Young + council members. Connor, 12 hybrids, Chris and the convict turned vampire, Mayor Lockwood, a barfull of innocent people turned into vampires, Kol+his whole line of vampires and no one really reacted lol, what's one more......

Damon, Stephan and Elena will NOT die!! This is a death that will "stick," so we can rule-out these three.
I'm also reading that they're filming episode 17, and the actor who plays Jeremy is in it. So my guess is that Jeremy will not die.
My money is on Matt. If I were to guess, Stephan or Damon kill him in order to save Elena. Probably one Salvator brother wanted him dead, while the other wanted to save him. We shall see...

Jeremy will probably have to be sacrificed to invoke the cure, being related to Elena really reduces your lifespan, but Damon might be the shock death. Maybe Elena and Stefan will be turned human or Rebekah will steal it for herself. I have also heard that Bonnie is the shock death.Maybe Katherine or Elena will die and Tatia will come back.

I think Damon will die and become human. That would affect all three of them. But at the end of the season Jeremy will die and Elena will turn off her humanity. And next season we'll see which one of the brothers is the key to her humanity.

Elena will take the cure, but will face severe consequences for doing so, i think something along the lines of losing her memory - not remembering either of the salvatore brothers would be pretty tragic

At this point I think every death is predictible in this show, no one important to the storyline ever dies and if they do we know they will be resurrected in a whiff! Carthatic effect=none whatsoever lol.

And I'm still waiting for that moment where people are actually genuinely shocked by someone dying.
Exactly. Even Jenna's death was not a very big deal to Jeremy and Elena. Or Lexi's to Stefan.
And Damon cares only about his brother and his girl, but I'm pretty sure Stefan and Elena are safe.

Elena bites the dust (literally)! Who kills her is the biggest surprise. Damon becomes human, temporarily. That would be much more dramatic than Tyler or Jeremy. Their deaths are too predictable. Hope the writers go big this time.

I have been theorizing awhile it is Tyler (my theory is that he and Caroline hear some, but not all, of Klaus' confinement and Tyler spends too long gloating and pontificating about revenge to Klaus and is ready to burn the Gilbert house down, but it is just after the rest have left and they never told either Tyler nor Caroline about the maybe four days). But, well, other than it would devastate Caroline and she is important to that threesome (well, to Elena and Stefan at least) and Caroline on a rampage might lead to some interesting scenarios. Otherwise, well, yes, I suppose it could be Jeremiah, but I am going to go with Shane before he tells them everything.

Damon becoming human isn't what I'd call "tragic"
A character WILL die, and it will probably be one of the main characters (not a recurring one like Mayor Lockwood). It will probably be Jermey or Matt.
There will probably be some other deaths too of recurring characters, such as Professor Shane. I think the second part of the season will be one huge blood-bath.

I think Damon will die and become human. That would affect all three of them. But at the end of the season Jeremy will die and Elena will turn off her humanity. And next season we'll see which one of the brothers is the key to her humanity.
