The last two episodes have been the best in awhile. I have watched the first three episodes of the season so many times. I keep them on the dvd player. That was so cool that Jackson's Mom bought the hospital. Yes, now kiss your Mom, Jackson. I think putting Alex and Jo together is so great for him, and yes, he has grown so much. Does anyone ever think that Izzie would come back and put a wrench in the works? I would love to see Addison come back to Grey's when Mer has her baby and yes, Benjamin Bratt and her sweet little son, too. I am still a Grey's fan and will always be. I have now gotten all of the Private Practice dvds but the 6th season doesn't come out until May.

Shocked to know that Jackson will now be running things. I think it'll be mostly Webber behind it all though. He and Catherine are the only ones out of that group with the experience to actually run the place. It might also break him and Stephanie up. I still don't know how I feel about those two as a couple, but I'm definitely not leaning towards a "yes".
I am leaning towards a "yes" to Jo and Alex. If there was a couple that was made for each other, it was those two. They have great chemistry and there is clearly something there. I really hope that they get together seriously before one "friend zone's" the other one. Or they sleep together prematurely and things get ugly. Or one dies.

I really liked the episode, it was a nice way to round up the whole selling/buying the hospital, which I found to be slightly predictable, but not too bad.
I'm a bit fascinated though, a lot of people here seems to be under the impression that Jackson is the "big boss", and to be fair, it has only been a requirement from his mom that he is on the board. From what's been said, he doesn't have more of a say than the others, who are also on the board, even if the Harper-Avery foundation owns the biggest share. Not saying that he won't have more to say, just that they haven't said anything about it. Also, I agree he doesn't look like he wants it, but the fact that they are buying the hospital is not going to affect their position as surgeons to to great of an extent. They discussed this in an earlier episode, they don't want to own and run the hospital full-time, they want to be doctors.
I'm confused as to where people have gotten the part about Richard become chief again. As far as I

I loved that no one knew who Brooks was until they said "Mousy". lol.
I was kind of hoping the billionaire would buy the hospital. He was very Christian Grey-Esque which I thought would bring more steamy-dreamy-whatever into the mix.
But that last twist w/ Mama buying Jackson a hospital was pretty great.

Just because Avery is the heir apparent to the HarperAveryfoundation doesn't mean that he's going to have inherited the skills to run a hospital board.
Am I the only one who thought Avery's intern gf liked his looks more than his bedroom skills? LOL

Loved the episode, and I'm totally for Jo and Alex after last nights episode. I loved that they had to get webber and Owen involved by the end. Also loved!!!! Bailey, she was awesome

Now Jackson, give Mama a kiss, she just bought a hospital!
That alone makes the ep a 5/5!! Freaking hilarious !!

... and Arizona learns, as a cherry on the pie, to ride her wheely's again and will live happily ever after with Callie. And tons of kids. And chickens, because she has this weird thing for chickens.
So. Now I am fed up with this storyline, so move on already!

Mama bought you a hospital... hilarious! And the lookes on everybody's faces!
So, now they have saved the hospital, now they can go back to normal:
Derek will be a rockstar surgeon again, Meredith will be at his side, because se also loved neuro before the Alzheimer's trial broke off and Derek didn't want to work with her again.
Cristina and Owen will be a sex-loving-bickering couple again. Owen will be the head of trauma again, instead of being the chief. Off course Webber will be chief again, together with Jackson, who'll be a part-time surgeon.
April will pass her boards finally and is going steady with... I don't care, either Jackson or the other guy. She will rock trauma.
Webber and Catherine will combine work with pleasure... ;)
Bailey will be her old self again, yay!
Okay, Alex can be happy with Jo. Personally I really don't like her character, or Stephany for that matter. I like Mousey and Ross!!!
Cahill hooks up with Hahn. (Don't you just see them together??) and

I do not think any of the "shareholders" will leave now, they are invested in the hospital. Probably, it is one of the reasons why Cathrine Avery considered buying it a good investment. The hospital is only as good as its doctors, who are now chained to it unless they sell their share...
I knew Catherine was going to buy the hospital.
I actually think that Jackson will not want to be in charge, he is the main plastics surgeon since Mark died and Jackson loves operating so I think he will ask to me a silent partner and have Owen continue as Chief of surgery and appt Derek as the man in charge of the hospital as Derek is still a rock star but I think his passion for surgery is gone and it also gives Patrick Dempsey the chance to keep his scaled back role.
I want Jo and Alex to hoop up already.

I don't mind Jackson on the board. He is only one voice on the board and his family did donate 175 million dollars to save the hospital. I am so glad Webber will be Chief again! However, if Christina, Mer/Derek leave I am finished with the show. I watch the show for Cris/Mer/Callie and then Derek, Webber and Bailey. Too many of the originals have left for me to stay interested if more leave. The current crop of interns are not interesting enough to make me keep watching. Owen...Ok. April getting better...miss Lexie , Sloane etc etc... I hope there will not be a huge exodus next year. I think this show has at least one more season in it! If soap operas can stay on for 20-30 years with the same characters I hope we get at least one more season from this crew!

This episode prepares GA to continue after the core three characters of MerDer & Cris leave.I couldn't see how any of them would be written out if they owned the hospital. Now they are small shareholders and Avery is the 'owner', very smart move by Shonda. Mrs Av continues to manipulate her son and it makes me dislike her even more. But is the new owner really gonna like being an administrator?
Poor MerDer Calazona Crowen and Webber. They will never get anything done without the HarperAvery seal of approval.

Good to see comments from kimski and some of the others. I had been wondering about the executive and Chief of Surgery positions. I knew there were "administrators" and wondered how much actual medical/surgical experience was involved. So, thanks, kimski.
After the initial shock of the plane crash (actually the aftermath as well), I have been intrigued about how this would play out. Pretty d**n interesting to me, and glad the main 3 couples are still together...at least in some form. Sooo looking forward to the remaining episodes.

I loved the show. I felt so bad for Hunt. He really was having the wool pulled over his eyes both ways. Glad he finally found out. I'm glad that it didn't work out exactly as the 5 Dr's wanted but I am glad that it did work out. Oh Catherine Avery, give your Mama a kiss, she just bought you a hospital, was so funny. Avery didn't like that very much but I suspect he knew it was the only way to keep the hospital open. I guess Richard, Cheif Weber will take him under his wing and shepherd him through this. Having worked at a Hospital for 25 yrs I know this isn't really how a hospital works. The Chief of Surgery is not the CEO of a hospital.
I love the Alex and Jo story line. I think the part about the other Dr is just a farce to see if Alex cares. I loved how she bared her heart to Alex about how much she would miss him. It's so nice to see a relationship cultivate between them before he just hops in bed with them. It's so nice to see how much he really cares too. Alex can be a douche so

I can't believe people are still watching this crapola ....I kicked GA to the curb after those super annoying episodes with ghost Denny ....and nothing is more boring on commercial network tv than an entire cast doing each other - prefer to watch paint dry !!!!
Is everybody still matched up like dogs in heat ?
I, personally, am soooo bored with the buying the hospital story line. You could see it coming from a mile away that Katherine was going to step in and save the day. Putting Jackson on the board could create a little drama, but that was a serious blow to Richard - you could see it by the look on his face. They just need to get back to the medicine, let us start to see what the new interns can do (they haven't done much of anything in the way of surgery to even know how good they are or what specialties they will really be good at), and definitely let us see more of Bailey and what's going on with her new marriage. I don't know how much more of this hospital thing I can take.

I have to say, I didn't like the whole selling hospital idea, but this last episode had me on the edge of my seat. And buying Avery a hospital? Totally didn't see that coming - but can sure as hell see there's gonna be drama there.
Will be interesting to see what happens next.

Alex and Jo is sweet and sexy without the sex he is so often known for. I love it. She is making him fall for her the old-fashioned way. He deserves this after so many hook-ups and misguided relationships.
As for the hospital bail-out. Ho hum...we knew it couldn't fold! Jackson has been standing up to Katherine for a long time...do not see that this could change because he is the board rep. Time will tell.

I knew it wasn't over when the buyer backed out. Having Harperd Avery foundation being the major shareholder will be interesting. I don't really mind that Jackson is on the board, he is not only Hot as hell but is smart. He will do just fine.
It will be interesting to see this develop. And i also prefer Chief Webber, he was the best but i don't think owen is doing a bad job. Stallig the board so the team has a day more was a really nice gesture. Awesome episode from a Great season so far! keep it coming

This whole situation makes me very leery. Anyone who has watched this show since Katherine Avery's first entrance, knows she is opinionated, manipulative (in negative and positive ways), self-important and self-pedestal-lifting. If Jackson is the go-to, I fear Katherine will turn the hospital into a state of the art *mess* via Jackson. They may as well rename the hospital "Katherine's Klinic" right now and save the time. I don't like it a bit. She's going to hang the Harper Avery Foundation backing over their heads for eternity and every choice they make will have the H.A.F. in the background. I hate it.
