This was just ok with me, good but not up to most of this season. I also hope they end the Doris story line soon. Maybe when Joe White shows up later this season they will get married and move to Japan. I'm trying to keep an open mind about Catherine because I like Michelle Borth, but it's 2/3rds of the season and it seams to me that they really don't know what to do with her. Still overall a very enjoyable season so far.
Not such a high profile episode this time around, and enjoyable hour nonetheless. I think the audience needs a rest from the intense episodes of this season. I'm with @Mrs Cleaver, I have zero idea who Summer Glau is, yet she did a solid job anyway. Im not sure if that was meant to be an Indiana jones reference in the end when Steve shoots the guy spinning the knife, but thats what I immediately thought. All around an average episode for me.

Not the best epi for me. I did enjoy Kamekono's soft side and that the entire crew was present at some point or another. But I don't like Doris and her condescending attitude. Would you trust your mother if she returned after a 20 yr. disappearance w/out a reason?? Can't wait for her storyline to end for good. I laughed at Treat William's PI character being named Mick! Love him and loved Moonlight! Some cute moments but after last weeks epic storyline, this one paled in comparison.

Another good episode. No idea who Summer Glau is/was but she did a good job. Another possible love interest for Chin, agreed. But I didn't have a ton of interest in the Fight Club Crime scenerio.
It was the "other stuff" I liked about this epi. Mom is annoying. But once you accept that(sort of like you have to with some of your own relatives)she gets easier to take, at least she has for me. It WAS funny to see her making Treat Williams chase her thru the grocery store & then buy her lunch. "How are the looms?" she purrs & you KNOW she KNOWS all about this guy. Steve taking the guy down with his garden gnome-Chucky, Dan's "You are on Shrimp Truck Lockdown" & Steve shooting the guy coming at him with the knife were classic moments. Still love Steve & Cath (know many don't but I do)he gets so goofy cute around her.

I think they should retire the character of Steve's Mom. She is so annoying. I knew she was onto Steve's little plan from the beginning. At least Danny wasn't so whiney this week.

I love Summer Glau. How about this. We start campaigning for her to recur on H50 as Chin's love interest. I'm sure they could have a lot of fun with Kamekona play substitute worried father warning Chin about dating Maggie?
Meanwhile, you knew that McGarrett's mum was on to Treat Williams as soon as she saw him. It was funny how she used his awful excuse to get a lunch date and more. Treat Williams teasing Steve about his mum? Excellent move.
I enjoyed the case, but mainly because Summer Glau sold it.
