@scott: I thought about that, too. If the guy had just kept walking, he would've bled out and died anyway, sooner or later. Why all the drama with the drain cleaner, which is a horrible way to die, opposed to death via hypovolemia, which is much less traumatic?

@MCAL I give you credit for even acknowledging "Michael the Non-NCIS fan". Most of us tossed him onto the "Ignore Train" a LOOOOOONG time ago. He's not a happy soul, quite obviously. The only folks who arguably love the Ziva character more than the Audience is probably the CAST & CREW of NCIS, so no worries!!! This episode was dull, but I give Ducky & Palmer credit for making the most of it. They were fun to watch at the end. The writing was very boring, but again....the two actors did a good job of adding some fun to a rather lousy script. So, hats off to Brian & David M.

#eula, in my area they sometimes run it again on Saturday evenings. If you have Comcast, you can catch it On Demand. I have to watch shows that air at 10 PM or conflict with my schedule On Demand (now if they would put 'Criminial Minds'in this feature I would be happy).

One thing I noticed in the write-up regarding the mole. It failed to mention gun-shot wound, which by itself may have been mortal. The mole, realizing this, offed himself quicker rather than bleed out painfully.
Also noticed, no TIVA. :(

I am really sadened that I did not get to watch this episode. I have never missed an episode. I usually don't work on Tuesdays but needed the money.
I wish they could show it again at 11{encore} for the people who can not watch it at 8. Or show it again sometime in the week.
Thanks for reading

And one more thing. No one is being made stupid so Ziva looks good. She is already liked by most (Read as MOST) viewers enough. Remember. You gave me the evidence neccessary to prove that Ziva is not the most hated female ever. In fact she is actually the most liked.

Once again you think I am an idiot and once again you would be wrong. It isn't illegal to resell tickets unless it is over the price you bought them for which it was not and it even depends on what state it is. Some states it legal no matter what. And if I am not mistaken I seem to remember a Tony Dinozzo from Season 1 and 2 who would gang up with Kate Todd to pick on the probies (Which happened to be McGee) and who oggled woman and once even imagined Kate Todd in a catholic dress and he could see her panties. (Remember Kill Airi Part 1 & 2). Compared to that, this Tony is at least twice better then he was before. Also you worded your last sentence as if it was a crime for Tony to figure out what McGee was hiding. Now can you please stop being an ass and answer peoples questions with the respect they deserve.

I look up what Mcgee was doing and it is Illgeal to resell tickets and to give someone tickets for free.
@Guest
Maybe now he is because the people on the show hate him but back in season 1 and 2 he was written as Gibb right handman now that go to Ziva Hell everything go to Ziva and that what people are bicthing about not just for Tony but Gibbs Abby and Mcgee have all been made stuipd to make Ziva look super.

why the hell should tim help tony out with tickets? tony would just bug him to death and bully him into getting them all the time.
liked ducky and jimmy together. they actually act like they like each other. unlike others on the team.

Tony has a serious side and appreciate when we can see that he has compassion, depth and is less glib- that being said, most of the time he is glib and sometimes it is overdone taking away from the plot, but most of the time there does seem to be a balance; some shows like NCIS LA allow the joking and glibness like Kenzie and her partner to get in the way of the plot and the character development which is why I very rarely watch the show; good to see Ziva dressing up more in bright colors; love Ducky of course.

@Michael What the hell are you talking about?! Tony found out cause Ziva and Palmer (and whoever that other guy was) gave it away. Or what? Just cause I found out a secret kept from me, I should go to jail. Logic! Logic! Logic! Use some of it before you make a post and everyone can criticize it.

I am beginning to hate Tony (and I really like him) just because of his fans on this site. They hate anything and everyone that make him look less then perfect in their eyes, including the writers. Tony is written as an outlet...a breathe of air...a release to the heavyness of a crime drama, not written to look bad because of any other character. Good or bad, this is who Tony is and will ALWAYS be, so stop hateing on him, McGee, Ziva, Gibbs and everyone else. Have favorites....fine...but stop the hating of the other characters.

I agree it made mcgee look very immature and selfish and looking into it what he was doing could be consider a crime

BTW, I don't think that Tony will ever be anything but immature when he feels like doing so...its part of his charm, and I know a lot of men who are very much like him. They're funny, charming, damaged, sexy and a huge pain in the rear, but when the chips are down, they are THERE for the people they love, no questions asked. Gibbs realizes Tony has his flaws and his eccentricities, and the way that he deals with them is to use the Gibbs slap to the back of the head to keep him in line and keep him focused.
I believe that viewers love this show because of the variety of realistic, wonderful characters that inhabit it, and because justice is served by the end, and all is right with the world, which is very satisfying.

I loved this episode because it contained lots of scenes with one of my favorite three characters, the holy trinity of Abby, McGee and Ducky! Dr Mallard is just a marvelous character, played superbly by David McCallum. Like Sean Connery, McCallum is still a vital and intriguing man who will never lose his sex appeal or his wonderful witty talent. And I don't blame McGee one iota for keeping Tony from his ticketing pal, because Tony would, indeed, abuse whatever privilege that McGee showed him. That's Tony's way, he's immature and takes advantage because he was raised by an immature man. I think that Tony's being humorous is one of the show's saving graces, because in the midst of death and mayhem, Tony manages to keep everyone together and rolling their eyes, if not laughing at his stupid jokes or immitations or movie quotes. And I though Jimmy Palmer aquitted himself rather well in this episode. Good for him.

Also, shouldn't the number of fans be going down if the characters are becoming worse. If what TPTB are doing things and the number of fans continues to rise, why should they change anything? I think people just have to accept the characters for who they are as long as more fans keep on comming. This goes for anyone of course.

Nice to see a Palmer centered episode, though I was expecting Palmer to get killed off the entire episode because Plamer has hardly ever appeared in an episode for the last season or so, ever since he started getting married, and when he was there he didn't do much of anything. It was good to see Palmer featured promiently for once and actually contribute.

How is it obvious? How would you know? How would I know either for that matter? And why would the creators decide to do it? What's so different about this Tony, then the Tony of Season 1. I need specific examples.
@Kevin
I don't remember anyone saying that Gibbs should be killed off and that Tony should take his place. Where does it say that exactly?

Ah there is the other thing I don't like is Tony fans always crying that he is nothing but a clown. I like Tony but don't like Tony fans because they act like he should be the star of the show and if it was up to them they would kill of Gibbs and have Tony be the main character. If they made Tony serious all the time he would just be a young copy of the Gibbs character and the show does not need that.

Well I thought the ticket scene made McGee look bad, and certainly not much of a friend to Tony. I get tired of the poor little victim McGee/meanie pants Tony defense when Tim is a butt. Tim's a grown man - if Tony started to take advantage, McGee could grow a pair and tell him enough already. MW is a great ad libber, but that scene was quite obviously highly orchestrated with one objective in mind. To once again demean Tony as the inferior person who no one actually likes. Ha Ha. In the early days, Tony was funny without the joke ALWAYS being on him. The humor was far more spread around. Now the joke is ALWAYS on Tony. I guess I should be grateful that at least they didn't portray him as incompetent as well.

MCAL while I joke around with my brother I never mock him like Tony mocks McGee. IMO what Tony does at times is on the line of being a bully not a brother. Only time he has been there for McGee was in "Probie" Otherwise he picks on him until he goes so over the line he knows and then feels bad.
Franks: Over the years we do some things, some good, some bad. Decisions that help one person can hurt another. Gibbs: Damned if you do. Franks: In the end, ...
