Finally! The moment five of us have been waiting for! Jack and Amanda got married on Revenge this week.

Someone should have told Jack Porter that it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding. Maybe then they wouldn't have a stowaway on the Amanda. 

But more importantly, maybe Conrad shouldn't have been such a jerk to Jack. Then he could have borrowed the Amanda to help Victoria dump Helen Crowley's body in the ocean after Victoria shot her.

Wait, what's that? You didn't see that?

Victoria Grayson killed Helen Crowley. In the pool house. With the revolver. Mama Grayson does not play around when someone threatens her son's life. Unless she's doing the threatening and then all bets are off.

How is it, exactly, that none of the characters on Revenge are even remotely suspicious that their conversations are being monitored before they're hit with the realization that such monitoring is taking place? Aren't they all devious enough to think that if they would spy on other people then people would also spy on them?

"Union" relied heavily on this plot device with that creepy Initiative-cam, where some faceless person just sits in a dark room watching the goings on of one Daniel Grayson all day, chatting about his happenings with other Initiativers. Oh, and a heaping dose of blackmail while we're at it. 

The Initiative-cam is lame. Lame. That's the nicest thing I can say about it. It's far too Inspector Gadget for my tastes and I keep expecting a mechanical arm to be the only body part I see in one of those chairs. 

So far the best use of these cameras is for blackmail, and I'm actually eager to see what Emily and Aiden will do with the knowledge that Victoria shot Helen Crowley. I didn't think Victoria would pull the trigger, to be honest. I knew she felt threatened by Helen's grip on Daniel's life, but Victoria was one step ahead of Helen the whole time. However, by killing Helen, she's probably just ensured that the Initiative will now come after all of them with a vengeance. Victoria did send a message about messing with her son, though. I'll give her that. 

Amanda also sent a message, but she wasn't smart about it. Using Emily's surveillance to force Conrad to back down on his plans to "revitalize" the waterfront was perhaps the dumbest thing this girl has done for the sake of love. By taking the computer to him and showing him the actual footage of his conversation with Victoria, she's inadvertently exposed Emily.

Conrad doesn't know where the video footage came from, but you can bet he doesn't think Amanda had the ability to bug his house or tap into his existing surveillance feeds.

She could've done just as much by telling him the information gleaned from the video instead of actually showing it. He would've gone behind her to Nate either way.

The only thing dumber than Amanda's show of cards was the fact that Emily's password is "infinity." Infinity? Really? Three of the same letter in the password? Has Nolan taught her nothing?

But Amanda saved her wedding day and then sailed off into the sunset with Jack so that he could actually enjoy life for a bit. At least until they find Nate on board ready to kill one or both of them. 

In other news from tonight's episode, Nolan discovered that the Initiative is using Padma in much the same way they used Aiden's father. They've taken her dad and plan to keep him until she delivers Carrion, a program about which she claims to know nothing. The jury is still out on whether or not I trust her. I want to trust her, for Nolan's sake. I don't want to think that his love karma is that cosmically awful that he would be in a relationship with two psychotic people in a row. 

And speaking of relationships, Aiden and Emily gave viewers quite the scare. 

First, they discovered that his sister, Colleen, actually died six years ago instead of three days ago like Helen led him to believe. That revelation shook him, understandably so, and his words to Emily were incredibly harsh. 

He accused her of not feeling, of turning off her emotions like flipping a switch. And then he walked away, leaving her in the middle of a cemetery of John and Jane Does, people whose true identities are unknown, not unlike Emily and Aiden.

While Emily can be a bit compartmental, her emotions are what drive her Revengenda. Those emotions are what had her bawling on the beach as Jack and Amanda shared their vows and she said goodbye to her childhood fantasy. 

Seeing Aiden up on the hill during that scene was a great moment. She calmed immediately upon seeing that he hadn't left her. They are good together. She doesn't have to pretend when she's with him. She doesn't have to be alone anymore.
