OMG Sue Ann ! Thank you for remembering December Bride. As for Mrs. Columbo, at least she dumped Peter Falk and got to be a Starfleet officer.

GeneralRapunzel is right. It was the final straw which broke Leonard's back, not the small incident itself. I ended a four-year relationship because my guy slammed the door of my (new) car nearly hard enough to break it, after having been asked not to do so. Cavalierly. It wasn't the slamming of the door. It was all the other small aggravations of the past four years, adding up to one-too-many, suddenly. Poor Leonard. Sheldon would drive me crazy, too.
@ Greg V., I remember December Bride. Always loved that show. Pete and Gladys, not so much. Mrs. Columbo did not work, for the same reasons.
I thought this was a brilliant episode, and after Sheldon having been humiliated by Kripke's brilliant plan last week, having him reduced to "ummmm-ing" at Amy was wondrous! Humanizing baby steps ...

Sheldon and Amy have kissed at least once, initiated by a drunken Amy. BTW, who'd have guessed that Amy would have a waterbed !?!

"The whole Leonard and Penny thing needs to be put to rest. You can only go so long with commitment issues etc."
The same could be said for the Sheldon and Amy thing. I was glad Amy got all up in Sheldon's grill about it. Two years of "dating" and nary a KISS between them? If that ain't lack of commitment, I don't know what is.

The Raj moments with Howard's mother were hilarious. I thought Amy and Sheldon were funny too. The whole Leonard and Penny thing needs to be put to rest. You can only go so long with commitment issues etc.

I agree with the person who said we can see Walowitz's mother on the last show and then it should be either someone really famous OR....it should be a old version of Bernadette, leaving us with the last message that he married his mother, that would be hilarious and creepy but mostly hilarious.

Considering the fact that The Walking Dead is a COMIC BOOK, I think it was a nice addition to the show. The fault was that the writers should have had Leonard already know about all that's happened with The Walking Dead since he, characteristically, would have read the comics. The episode, as a whole, was hilarious as always expected with Big Bang

re: Mrs. Wolowitz (the elder) finally revealed, sort of. Many shows have had characters that were never revealed. If you're old enough to remember, we never saw neighbor Pete Porter's, (Harry Morgan's), wife, Gladys, on December Bride. Not till they got their own show and she was played by Cara Williams. Anyway, I'm satisfied with never seeing Howard's mom till the very last episode of the series. We should have been getting little teaser glimpses long ago. At least since the second or third seasons. I'm surprised that she hasn't been revealed at ComiCon, as she's done the cast intros there.

Okay film geeks, was that the 'Wilhelm Scream' when Mrs. W. dragged Raj back through the window ? I think it was.

i get how he might not have read or seen harry potter...i havent either, but i must know most of the spoilers by now. i am surprised at supposed comic book readers not having read at least the first few of the walking dead comics. lorri has been dead in those for a long time.

My apologies, misread the original review--he did say Leonard was comfortable, not Penny.

Did the original reviewer watch the same episode I did? Penny definitely was not ready for Leonard to move in--the argument about Sheldon's needs was misdirection because she didn't want to hurt Leonard by telling him.
Still, it was a funny episode with some nice moments. I liked "I'm a coward--the evidence supports that".

i agree with some theories that Leonard has Edipo complex, thats the reason of stuck with sheldon all this years, he just could leave Sheldon long ago like the previous roommate.
Im not totally reject the soy milk - hormones theory, luckily i rarely drink it
It wasn't just those things which set Leonard off, but it was the straw which broke his back. And I would be livid if someone had spoiled a book ending for me too. It was very odd that Leonard hadn't read the books until now. They were so huge. How has he not seen the movies, or heard the spoilers even until this point. That is very impressive.
I did enjoy the conundrum of roommates of all parties. I think they were handled well. Especially Amy finally losing it to Sheldon and Sheldon blaming Penny. Raj and Mrs Wolowitz was funny, especially Howard's comments about guilt. Been there!

Leonard was right to be pissed (soy milk theory aside). When my sister spoiled the ending of Order of the phoenix. I literally threw the book at her.

Oh my freaking word! This was by far the funniest episode this season!!! It had me laughing like I did in the season 1 finale with Sheldon trying to learn Mandarin. Hahahahilarious! A bit shocking that it would take a nerd like Leonard this long to read Harry Potter. That is sacrilege in Nerdom. The writers could have used The Hunger Games instead. Lots of shocks there! Not so shocked about the walking dead, because most people especially overseas watch these shows illegally anyways.
Amy was funny and not so annoying because what she said was the truth. Sheldon is very stuck in his ways and it is time he get out of it.
But also at the end of the day, Sheldon and Leonard are better suited to be room mates simply because they have more in common and can co exist symbiotically. Well except for the random out bursts by both people.
Professor Proton: I'm having trouble with my pacemaker. Leonard: I'll call for help. Penny: Any chance we could plug it into the potato? Professor Proton: No.
