thanks! I'm addicted to these videos now! great video although it goes too fast in my opinion, amost have my head spinning at the end.
will try to find a few others then I'm off.

  2. Entwife

The second one was good enough to make it to my folder, too -- had a lot of great images in it, even at the end when the music ran out.

  3. mimi

    you're welcome!
the second one wasnt that good to be honest.. I posted it before watching till the end but jisbon is always good to watch:-)

  4. Entwife

@Mimi Totally loved that first video, the black and white one, very well done. I dropped it in the Mentalist folder I keep on my desktop! Thanks!

  5. Entwife

@huisclothes Total >grin< so funny about killing RJ ten times over to make sure he's not only dead, but really most sincerely dead! :-D Also like your idea about Patrick's capture and rescue by Lisbon. It would make a terrific extended arc-- culminating in lots of Jisbon lol.

  6. mimi

ahah well no it wouldnt be a terrible show but much more "cliffhanger" if they couldnt go on with their passion for some reason, or they'd have to hide, it would be exciting to watch too!

  7. Entwife

Hahahahahaha so true @Mimi, us shippers have our own slant! On the Jisbon doing it thing and then having to maintain distance and pretend it didn't happen for months and months, etc. I just don't think I could take it, friends, I just don't think I could take it. Put together a major arc, kill RJ, get 'em together and move on to a new life and new cases with lots of Jisbon! Would that be such a terrible show?

  8. Entwife

@rationalgal oh, such a great catch by you on hugging the bunny in Devil's Cherry. I got the big thump on that one, so touching. Of course that's what's happening! Now I have to see the whole scene again and enjoy it even more! Terrific to wake up to this morning, thank you. Ahhhhhh, what a show!

  9. Mimi

Well if it really is guessing lisbon says then janes response is really condescending even insulting. - of course we're seeing this out of context..
Maybe itll cause us to argue badly, lisbon wont let him treat her like this and he'll realise he went too far and will make it up to her sometimes..
We've never seen jane look at her and talk to her like this have we? With a hint of contempt..

  10. mimi

oh that would be amazing!!maybe they still dont know themselves..goodnight!

  11. huisclothes

last year, we knew in march. so maybe we'll have our answer after the next 4 week block of episodes. i'm going to turn in now. speak to you tomorrow.

  12. mimi

    hi!
I cant wait to be May to know! if only we knew it now, we could blow off steam a little bit. I feel like I'm holding my breath.

  13. huisclothes

    hi mimi
i am excited about the idea that tm may survive. no snoopy dance yet. but we will have a party. like all agree to toast at a certain time. but i'm getting ahead of myself.

  14. mimi

I think it's right, Lisbon said guessing, funny how we all thought she said kissing!!! us shippers are hearing what we want to hear right?

btw welcome to the new TM lovers!

  15. mimi

    hi all

oh HC I love that idea! they do it because they're hammered or more probably because their lives are in danger but then have to ignore each other, pretend nothing happens but RJ knows.. would be amazing!
Let's hope for a season 6! ahhhhhh if they announce a new season we'll have a huge party on this forum!

  16. huisclothes

patrick kills red john. patrick and teresa do it. teresa disappears. a wolf howls across the frozen lake.

  17. huisclothes

@rationalgal. really? patrick will pet teresa by the end of the season? even if they get a season 6? i'd love them to make a mistake. to do it because they're completely hammered or they think they're going to die. then they spend all next season not being able to make eye contact. oh....and she gets pregnant. as young frankenstein said, "IT COULD WORK!!" that would be jumping a whale.

  18. huisclothes

gotcha. i saw golden boy. bad script. self-consciously shot. you find yourself paying more attention to how everything's framed than to what's happening. handsome guy who's trying to do a tough guy accent and just winds up sounding tongue-tied. definitely appealing to a younger audience than tm. the guy's a kid and the idea is he's this smart, brash, ambitious wunderkind who winds up in seven years being the youngest chief of police ever. the whole thing is done in flashback. and his sister is a bad girl he keeps bailing out of trouble. so it's a perfect adolescent fantasy. he knows more than all the adults who don't understand him but not so much that he can't learn from his crusty but benign older partner.
i think girls could like him. couldn't compare to the pilot of the mentalist.

  19. KM

    @ huisclothes,

No news. It was a joke, I was pointing out that the star of Golden Boy might attract the same women as Simon Baker and CBS is trying so hard to attract Mentalist viewers, that maybe Les thought his wife might crush on this British import and loose her Simon fondness. Poorly made joke on my part.

  20. rationalgal

Maybe TGW needs more promo than TM, which CBS might feel has enough of a dedicated audience that they can afford to put their promo bucks on a more needy show. Keeping old standbys on Sunday night would make sense while they see how the new shows are doing. Then they can bring back the tried and true shows if necessary. (Did I miss my calling as a TV producer? Hmmmm. Didn't we all?) As for Jane and Lisbon. Just look at Black Cherry again. Look at how Jane loves and cuddles the rabbit! That rabbit represents Lisbon! Jane is hallucinating the truth to himself - that he has to get rid of RJ soon so he can get on with loving Lisbon. Look at him with that rabbit! Good grief! Jane wants to hold Lisbon like that so badly! Clear as can be! I'm thinking it will happen at end of season 5.

  21. huisclothes

@km what do you know about golden boy? is there news there?

  22. huisclothes

@km please do remind me. i'm slowly learning this and must be smacked with a rolled up newspaper. seriously, i appreciate you taking the time to straighten me out.

also regarding the ctv promo. i think jane is horsing around when he says "what do you take me for?" also when he says about guessing, "you should try it sometime." a zinger. but lighthearted. then he says, "i'm off to pursue red john."

  23. KM

    @ huisclothes,

Sounds like CBS has a small grinch size heart or Les's wife was not enchanted enough with Golden Boy. And, I'll stop reminding you if you wish? My heart is that I don't want CBS stealing anyone here of any drops of joy. And, CBS is an arsehole that stinks. Joy is too precious to waste. Less CBS and more Patrick Jane.

  24. huisclothes

@km yeah, you're right about promos and syndication. you'll only have to explain it to me, like ten more times, and i promise i'll get it. though my hub, he who must be obeyed, has just pointed out that he saw a tm promo earlier in the evening.

  25. KM

    @ Rationalgirl,
I like your 6 season idea. I'm sure I will be overjoyed if they give us 13 episodes, more would be grand. But, 13 would allow them to give TGW 13 more in hopes of getting greater syndication interest by getting them to 100+. Both shows could then be retired. And, this would open up an entire hour for CBS to air either a new drama or two new comedies. CBS has two of their work horse comedies backing out in '14, How I Met Your Mother and Two 1/2 Men, and they will need to find replacements.
