May we please have a new reviewer for TVD.
Yes this episode was slow and not the best, but the Klaus and Caroline scene w/out a doubt was absolutely the best scene. Ever.
The fact that your disregarding the scene as if it was corny or inconsequential shows the lack of fandom for this show.
Any avid fan would take this moment and see the poignancy in it.
The scene was about Klaus' character b/c yes it's obvious, it was about Klaus and Caroline's relationship development!
This truly was the only scene that wasn't pointless in tonight's episode.
So please, lets get a new reviewer with some actual dedication, time, and feelings for the show.

Cont. The writers need to let Damon be the villain we love to hate once more since Klaus is leaving the show AND while they're at it, he should be the one to give virgin Bonnie her first true earth shattering orgasm LOL.

My goodness! Must every villain in TVD fall in love and loose the evil side we love to hate? First Damon was watered down and re-written so much so that he lost the plot and took over being Elena's lap dog from Stefan, now Klaus is being dumbed down to loving caroline hence saving her life JEEZ! I for one love that the real Damon is struggling to get out of the bread and butter Damon we have been served lately; the dude loves being a vampire and revels in his bad boy lifestyle. He wants a partner to spend eternity with and deep inside he wants a 'perfect Katherine' not goody two shoes Elena. Vampire Elena is a 'good' version of Katherine while human Elena is a carbon copy of Katherine who basically recreated the dreaded love triangle he and Stefan had with Kat. Damon simply transferred his 145 years of loving Katherine to Elena. The writers need to let Damon be the villain we love to hate once more since Klaus is leaving the show AND while they're at it, he should be the one to give vi

I agree with you Red! That damn Elena jumping at Bekka like she was boss hog. Bek layed her ass flat, like taking candy from a baby.

Whatever. Boring ass episode. The only redeeming quality was Rebekah (she's been doing that a lot lately). She had the best lines AND put Elena in her place.....ON HER BEHIND/CHOKING THE LIFE OUT OF HER.... on more than one occasion. For that alone I say "bravo Bekah". But the epi was lacking in everything else. Even the Klaroline scenes were a bit redundant. Nothing new on that front.

Seems like someone is obsessed with Stefan by watching every expression on his handsome face. Wonder if that someone watched anything or anybody else's facial expressions. Oh! did you see Damon's facial expression when Elena said that she wanted him to take the cure too so that they can live a long human life together and he told her that he was not Stefan. Poor Elena; she's so confused!

Stupid Stefan longing look #1--on the beach when Elena wouldn't let him help her up and then she walks away
SSLL #2--when bex saves Elena from being staked by the booby trap
SSLL #3--in the tent when Elena said she wasn't sure Damon was coming back and the three of them were in this together
And that's just the top three obvious ones IMO

Oh dear, can we please stop with the stupid Stefan longing looks and the most gorgeous man on the planet (Damon) doubting that Elena loves him, when clearly she would be a freaking idiot not to love him. Since when does he pretend with Elena anyway? We all know he has no reason for wanting to take the cure and I can't believe Elena suddenly wants the cure more than she wants him. Love must not mean the same to her as other people.

I don't really think the episode was boring, it was just necessary to lead to the coming events. It was nice to see rebekah and Elena make a little head way in their relationship. I didn't care for the look Elena gave Stefan though after hearing he would take the cure, considering Damon told her he doesn't want it. I don't wanna see Stefan and Elena back together. I actually really enjoy his chemistry with rebekah. I thought the klaus and Caroline moments were sweet actually. And it says a lot about Joseph Morgan that he can make you so mad one second and then have you rooting for his character the next. Even though he caused that to happen to Caroline, that final moment with them was really touching. Plus I can't stand Tyler. So I'm still rooting for Caroline and klaus!

I want Kol back - and have great hopes for it - but if Silas /chooses/ who he brings back, I don't know if I should be sure he'll do it? He may want to bring back all of the vampires to wreak havoc on Earth to torture Qetsiah (not even going to pretend I spelled that correctly) and other witches? Bottom line: I want Kol back, and Klaus is great. Also, holy crap, boring episode that needed more redeeming qualities.

I think the third massacre involves killing Jeremy because if Shane already knew where the place is then why do he need Jeremy. I am glad that they is bringing back Silas because Kol will be brought back. I also thought this episode boring and glad that Caroline was back on my screen.
