So if Jeremy had the ring all this time, why were they even worried about Damon killing him a few episodes ago.....or did Kol remove his ring?

At this point I am desensitized to Jeremy dying lol. he has died more than Rebekah so my bet is that he is actually dead now... there was some serious problems in the editing room this week on this episode, did anyone notice Klaus in the very beginning of the episode how his hairstyle kept changing from shot to shot ? Lmao super funny.

Yes, @Lo knows what's up. Jeremy is super natural now. The ring can't protect him. When Elena stabbed him in the neck, he wasn't a hunter yet.

Jeremy is a hunter, a supernatural being. Elena could never wear one of the Gilbert rings because she was the doppelgänger, a supernatural being. I don't think the ring will work for him. (I think thats why in the promo, Stefan specifically says to Damon "He was one of the Five.") And am I crazy or did Bonnie give a "last breath" at the end? It almost implies they are BOTH dead? (Also in the promo for next week, we hear Elena yell out to find Bonnie somewhere...)

Seriously, do we not all remember about Alaric with the ring? The more it happens the longer it takes to come back...I remember once it was like a day and a half and I think Jeremy has been killed more often. I actually think Bonnie is more likely dead. I mean Galen(?) stabbed her with full hunter force and I imagine Silas ain't too far from getting to her to try and drain her before Stefan can get there. And I actually think Katherine might have the same mission that Elena in the end had...to use it on Klaus so she doesn't have to run anymore. and i was wondering if they killed silas would all vampires including originals be dead or something?

Great episode. It's not shocking that there's only one dose of the cure. I wanna know how Katherine knew about the cure. I do and don't hope Jeremy's dead. Don't want him to be dead because he's a great character and has come so far since season 1. Do want him dead because it would take the show to a whole new place and it would change Elena pretty much everything would change in away and would mean there would be interesting storylines. I knew that it was Katherine the minute she rescued Jeremy. I'm kinda glad Katherine's back but this time I hope she has a real storyline. There are 2 reasons I think Katherine wants the cure. 1.to give it to klaus as a sorta piece offering like I give you this and you can keep it from everyone or give it to who ever you want and I get to go free you stop trying to kill me. 2.she makes klaus take the cure so he would stop trying to kill her.3. I just thought of this one she takes the cure but doesn't use it because Silas gets awakened and she wants to

I think Jeremy is gone for good. They needed a big death. I think Klaus called Katherine to retrieve the cure in exchange she's paid him back and doesn't have to run.

It was never vocalized or hinted at. Only time it was mentioned is when Jeremy thought he was going to become like Alaric. Never with hunter stuff

So Jeremy's dead. Big deal! Just another victim of the Elena crusade. I'm much more pissed off with the stark reality of no more Kol. Obviously this resurrection shit was just some lie Silas told to Shane while he was impersonating his dead wife. I can honestly say I felt a whole lot more from Kol's death than Jeremy's.

Jeremy probably can't have his ring now that's he's a hunter. I feel like it was mentioned early on when his transformation began.

I, for one, will be very sad if Jeremy is really dead… I've always liked him, even when he wasn't so central to the storyline. This season he has been phenomenal. I'd much rather see Tyler go. I have no use for him. As the reviewer said, he's in and out all the time. That pretty much makes him indispensable. I'd love to see Caroline with klaus. They have so much more chemistry! Their scenes are always so endearing to watch. Charlie Bewley is a nice addition to the show I think. I like his banter with Damon. He'll make for a good new enemy. I actually thought the whole hour was great, I'm not sure what there was to not like? Shane lead them all to believe there was enough of the cure. They've basically been going off of his knowledge this whole time. So how were they supposed to know there's only one dose?

Too bad Bonnie didn't die! I am tired of the 1000 different ways that Stefan gets between Damon and elena and I'm tired of how badass Damon suddenly doesn't care if his brother steals HIS girl. More DE sex and much less Shane/cure/Silas/Bonnie bs!

Of course Katherine do not want the cure. She knew about the cure all along and there is one person she wants to give it to and it is the same person she been running from, Klaus. I knew the cure was meant for only one person because they said that they made it only for Silas. Whoever that other hunter was, I didn't really care about him but he had a great accent. I enjoy the little interlude of Damon and Rebekah.

What happened to that ring Jeremy wears?
I'm very surprised they got rid of two main characters in one episode. Tyler and Jeremy both gone!! THAT is a very bold move, which is why the show is so strong.
Although, I expected Matt to be the one to die. If they're still keeping him around, I certainly hope they have a really strong storyline ahead for him.

Fuck all this shit. All I got from this episode was that Kol isn't coming back!!!! Resurrection my ASS!!! Although the Klaroline scenes were amazing.
