If they wanted to get rid of Tyler, fine, even if he was the only male character left that i liked after everyone else was massacred in the name of St, Elena (Matts guardian angel must be doing one hell of a job to keep him alive), but they could have found a much better way to do it.
They basically dont know what the hell to do with the guy! And Hayley gets to be in the spinoff yet and NOBODY likes her?! How does THAT work! Tyler should have been killed instead of his mother, that was the perfect way to exit his character, but no.

Hayley was working with Klaus, she betrayed Tyler to help Klaus.
So it makes sense that she is safe from him.
Tyler will never be safe from Klaus because he has Caroline's heart.

So they got rid of the two nonpsychotic males on the show (except Matt and who knows how long he will last. So if they spin off the Originals the show will be Damon and Stephan and what's her name. Very compelling basically we have Twilight without sexy werewolves.

@San, I feel the same way about that. If anything Heyley? Was the one who put that idea on Tyler head about the whole Habrid thing. But yet she allow to come back and also go to the spinoff? I don't see the whole big deal about her. If anything I like April better.

So Hayley - who is also responsible for the release of the hybrids - is allowed to come back while Klaus is still around, but Tyler isn't?!?! Seriously? How effin' lame is that, Plec? I get you love Tonkins (or whatever her name is), but this is ridiculous!
Elena : I just want to kill her. It's that simple.
