I thought that last night's new episode of Dallas was so wonderfully well-written. My 2 favorite scenes were (1) Sue Ellen, Mandy and Cally, um, reminiscing about J.R. (LOL!!!!!) and (2) the brawl at the funeral. AWESOME EPISODE!!!!!
Until next time...Peace.

"Sue Ellen broke my heart. Despite all the lying, cheating, manipulating, and general dirty deeds, she loved J.R. and he loved her." Two of the sweetest moments from this Dallas 2.0 are 1. When JR saw SueEllen forced to drop out of the governor's race on tv and his face fell, and 2. When SueEllen asked him in for a cup of tea and his look of almost childish delight. I will SO miss JR -- Larry Hagman was awesome! I'd be worried about the future of the show, but I do like the actor who plays John Ross.

I so agree about Cathy Podewell... She got out of acting after Dallas which probably helped her keep her looks... The other thing is that she was very, very young when she was on Dallas... So it's only been a little over 20 years since the show ended and she was born in 1964.. Women in their late 40's can still look good and she certainly still does!! But looks like she's been happily married for over 20 years raising her family so good for her.. Deb Shelton OTH, is in her mid 60's and looks it... During the Dallas run, she was in her 30's and still had her beauty queen looks...

JR was looking for Pam because Pam would be important if Ryland and Barnes join forces to take down the Ewings. Pamela would side with her son. She was another weapon against Cliff.
Cathy Podewell (Callie) has not aged at all.
Music was fantastic. Including the Dallas theme played almost as a funereal dirge. Love this show.

I loved this episode! I loved all the cameos (OMG it's Mandy Winger! OMG it's cally Harper!) and the actor who plays John Ross broke my heart! The funeral actually got me thinking of my favorite moments watching the original series with my mom - how much of a good time we had together.
Can't wait to see what JR's master plan was.

I absolutely loved this episode, although I really hate that it came about from the real life death of Larry Hagman. Sue Ellen broke my heart too. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I have no doubt that J.R. will live on to wreck havoc in Dallas for years to come.
You mean wreak havoc.
