Siobhan Finneran Exits Downton Abbey

Downton Abbey has lost another star.

With Dan Stevens (Matthew) and Jessica Brown Findlay (Lady Sybil) having already departed the ITV hit, The Huffington Post UK confirms that Siobhan Finneran is also exiting the series.

"I'm not doing any more," the actress said. "O'Brien is a thoroughly despicable human being - that was great to play."

Downton Abbey Season 4 is currently filming in England and will air some time in late 2013 in the United States.

No word yet on the situation from anyone connected with the series and, therefore, no details on just how O'Brien will be written out.

Downton Abbey Quotes

Robert: You'll be in a very junior seat.
Violet: Il faut reculer pour mieux sauter. (You have to step back to jump further.)

Edith: Now you're happy again, you'll be nicer... for a while.
Mary: If that's what you feel, then why are you here?
Edith: Because, in the end, you're my sister and one day, only we will remember Sybil... or Mama or Papa or Matthew or Michael or Granny or Carson or any of the others who have peopled our youth... until, at last, our shared memories will mean more than our mutual dislike.
