Taye Diggs to Investigate Murder in the First on TNT

Taye Diggs is trading in his white coat for a police badge.

The former Private Practice star will team with Kathleen Robertson, Deadline confirms, in Murder in the First, a a Stephen Bochco-produced drama on TNT.

Similar to The Killing, the series will star Diggs and Robertson as San Francisco detectives looking into a murder that leads then down more and more of a complicated and startling path as the season progresses.

While Diggs is coming off the aforementioned ABC hit, Robertson most recently appeared on Boss.
