@estatica Yes, I do think he might sacrifice his life to save the team, especially Lisbon. I'm just not sure at this point if he would do it just to bring RJ down. Could be totally wrong, even easily wrong. But it seems to me, at this point, he will try very hard not to die, maybe harder than ever before. The added triumph of surviving RJ would be very great, he would love that. Heller has spoken so often of giving the viewers what they want, surely he would not kill Patrick off just to be thought more artistic and edgy by his cable buddies. Fingers crossed.

@KM - I'm sure I'll love Australia. I've been in southern India for 3 month, right at the cape Komorin, where the indian ocean and the arabic sea meet. At first it was a bit (no kidding) hot, but I got used to it. The waves were insane at times. I did not dare to swim when they were 5 or 6 Meters high, I'm not that great of a swimmer! I also love the Mediterranian area (Provence, Spain, Italy). Maybe one day I'll sell my house in Switzerland and retire there somewhere. It's just too bloody cold up here (-16 C this morning - that's aroung 0 Fahrenheit for you Americans)

Unfortunatly I have not been in Australia - yet! It's on my bucket list. Hubbie has been there (he still talks about the beautiful surfer girls on the beaches! Grrrrrr...) and loved it. He was also in Tasmania and New Zealand. We are planning on a trip there, just the two of us, when the kids are out of school.

hi all. i was living my usual night stalker existence last night and endured a confluence of horrors. no tv fanatic site - error message, my hub's insanely complicated tv system on the fritz and recovering-from-pneumonia him fast asleep. had no choice but to make instagrams of my dog (see some under huisclothes). heaven forfend that i use it for practical reasons.
i too had worries that i had lost you all forever. phew.
a while ago, we discussed the inside humor of sporty bad boys with a masochistic streak. definitely an inside joke between baker and becca.

There is a sign here in the liquor store that says, you have to show your ID to proof you're 19! So - I'm in the store buying some wine, go to the checkout and show the lady my driver's licence for ID (with a very serious expression on my face of course!) She looked at me very puzzeld and trying not to offend me said: "it's alright honey, I believe that you're older than 19"! Of course she didn't doubt it for a split second, but I got a good laugh out of both of us! Gotta have some fun, right? Can't take yourself too serious!

I'm invited for 'Chick's night' today. A bunch of girls (well, not really girls anymore - we just like to think so! :-D ) get together for dinner and a movie. It's "Australia" tonight! You should get on a plane and join us! You would probably the closest to a girl! :-))

About the conversation yesterday about whether Patrick would sacrifice his own life if it meant killing RJ, combined with the conversation about need to stand up to the bully, but his fear of physical harm makes him run away before he gets hit. Patrick Jane has a VERY strong sense of self-preservation. I'd say it's at least equal to his need to get up in a bully's face, but probably stronger. So, I don't think he would ultimately give up his life to kill RJ, but it could be a real toss-up, at the least a gamble where he thinks the odds are good he can win. It's Janian to push it, even cross that mark and somehow pull it out, get away. I think somehow he'll do that in a show down with RJ. If the writers kill him it would be treason to the character of Jane. I think Jane will win and come out of it alive.

oh Bona I watched it yesterday or the day before, I love it too! I made a comment here and said how funny it was when Jane asks for help 'cat's in the bag' but they are slow to come so again 'cat's in the bag and the bag's almost in the river', so funny!

I think you're right about wrest and wrench. Snatch is more like pulling something away from somebody. I hope that one of the english experts can give you better advice though. Have fun tonight.

Snatch does not evoke the twisting motion that both wrest and wrench do. You can snatch something or grab it, pull it, straight from the table with a linear motion. Both wrest and wrench are defined by forcible twisting motion with the jerk or pull.

oh btw I dreamt of Patrick last night! he was patrick and someone I knew at the same time, see how dreams are weird? we were at a party and he was sat somewhere and I came to him, we talked, he took my hands and warmed them up as they were cold. My heart was skipping a beat, it was cute but then I woke up, damn!!
