The first promo for True Blood Season 6 has been released and one thing is made very clear in the 30-second tease:

The Bill Compton we once knew and loved is no more.

Following last year's finale transformation, it appears as if the June 16 premiere picks up immediately after Bill went all bloody on Sookie and Eric, with those two still inside the Authority's complex, running for their lives away from this new and wild creature.

Elsewhere, Alcide shirtless.

This preview will premiere on HBO just prior to tonight's Game of Thrones Season 3 opener.
