TV Ratings Report: A Beastly Boost

It was a strong Thursday night for The CW, as The Vampire Diaries rose six percent in total viewers and Beauty and the Beast shot up a very impressive 24 percent in the same category.

Both dramas also saw gains among 18-49-year olds, as we rundown the ratings game below...

American Idol: 11.6 million viewers
Wife Swap: 5 million
The Vampire Diaries: 2.5 million
Community: 3 million/1600 Penn: 2.5 million

9 p.m.
Grey's Anatomy: 9.1 million
Glee: 5.8 million
Beauty and the Beast: 1.7 million
The Office rerun: 2.3 million/1600 Penn: 2.2 million

10 p.m.
Scandal: 8.5 million
Law & Order SVU: 4.2 million
