John Barrowman to Guest Star on Scandal

John Barrowman will take a mini break from Arrow next month.
The actor, recurring on that CW smash and also beloved for his role as Captain Jack Harness Dr. Who, will stop by Scandal later this year.
It's unclear what character Barrowman will be taking on, but creator Shonda Rhimes announced the news last night over Twitter:
"John Barrowman is here working at @ScandalABC today," she wrote. "Life is good. #torchwood #captainjack #iamanerd."
Barrowman will appear on the penultimate episode of Scandal Season 2 on May.
He had been hoping to work with Rhimes on Gilded Lilys, but ABC chose not to pick up last year.
