Katey Sagal is returning to her comedic roots.

The actress, who spent years on Married with Children before donning leather and a more serious face on Sons of Anarchy, will guest star later this season on Glee.

Creator Ryan Murphy announced the news on Twitter, giving away Sagal's role but not when she will appear:

"So thrilled to announce my friend Katey Sagal is playing Artie's mom on Glee! There is nothing this woman can't do!"

Considering she has recorded albums and provided songs for the Sons of Anarchy soundtrack, it's a good bet that Sagal will lend her singing voice to the Fox series as well.
