Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is headed to The Walking Dead.
The Wire alum will be a series regular when this AMC smash returns in the fall, coming on board as an ex-army medic named Bob Stookie. Look for the character to be severely haunted by events that took place both before and after the apocalypse.
The Walking Dead Season 4 will premiere some time in October, with David Morrisey returning as The Governor and Robert Kirkman recently saying the mainstays will travel to many different places and locations.
Aside from his role as D'Angelo on The Wire, Gilliard also enjoyed an extended run last year on Army Wives.
