MTV Orders Scream Pilot, Renews Snooki & JWoww

MTV has ordered a one-hour drama pilot based on the movie Scream.
The project, which has been in development for over a year, is still seeking a writer, but will be produced by MTV executives Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley. It it set to air in the summer of 2014.
The network, of course, has found major success with Teen Wolf, another series inspired by a film, which kicks off its third season in June.
MTV also announced at its Upfront Presentation today in New York City that Snooki & JWoww has been renewed for another season.
