WARNING: If you have yet to watch last night's Southland, stop now. Major plot points are discussed in the following video interviews...

The days and nights on this TNT drama are never easy, but "Chaos" was a doozy for Officers John Cooper (Michael Cudlitz) and Hank Lucero (Anthony Ruivivar). They werekKidnapped and tortured, as the show's emotional and surprising ending more than likely rattled even the toughest Southland watcher, myself included.

I was on the set in downtown Los Angels during the filming of this penultimate Southland Season 5 episode and grabbed an exclusive chat with Cudlitz and Ruivivar about shooting this big installment and the true story that inspired it.

First, a few words from Ruivivar:

And here Cudlitz explains the true story that inspired the events in the episode:

NOTE: Southland awaits a sixth season pick-up and anyone who's watched this season can attest to the fact that this show needs to live on. I'm talking to you, Michael Wright, President, Head of Programming, TNT, TBS & TCM.

Best show on TV. Please don't take it away!!!

Amazing show!! Cannot cancel!!

So much more GREAT television to be had in Southland, but if it's the end, it went out on top. Top-notch from beginning to end.

This is the greatest show ever. I rave about it to everybody. It CAN NOT be cancelled. Please keep this great show and actors back for another and another season. PLEASE!!

Terrifying. Not since the episode where Nate was killed has my head been so messed up. Brilliant show!

Bravo!!!! More seasons!!!

This episode "Chaos" was amazing. Some of the best acting, best script writing and just an all-around amazing show. It has to be renewed for the 6th, 7th, 200th season if at all possible!!!!!

What an amazingly heart wrenching episode! I still can't get my head straight! Profoundly moving and incredibly performed, kudos to this fantastic show for delivering great tv time and again. So brilliant and so moving, I hope this show isn't lost in a sea of garbage "reality" tv. It doesn't get anymore real than southland!!

I've never seen a show that was more wrenching or hard to forget - it has been on my mind all day. WHAT acting! And what a heartbreaking story. No WAY could they cancel Southland!
