The Mentalist Season Finale Preview: Who's on The List?

by at . Comments

Patrick Jane worked closely with J.J. LaRoche on the latest episode of The Mentalist.

But fans of this CBS drama can look forward to the crime-solver focusing his energy on someone else next Sunday: Red John.

The Mentalist Season 5 finale will center on Jane narrowing down his list of suspects to seven names, as the serial killer returns to kill someone from Jane's past. How can Patrick be so sure that his sworn enemy is back?

"Because when it's him, I can feel it," he tells Lisbon in the following creepy promo.

ok, what happened to whomever's name is Roy that Loralie Martins talked about. Early on in Season 2 there was a doctor Roy something. Why couldn't it be him?

One of my favorite shows at the beginning. The whole atmosphere of the show has changed with the obsession with Red John. Too bad.

I agree with the commentators above who says Red John is either Judge Manchester or Walter Mashburn, the playboy billionaire. I have loved this show, but I could not believe it when the script writers killed off Lorelei Martin. Oh, how beautiful she was!

Awwwww, wouldn't be neat if it were...Lisbon?? Just a thought...

RED JOHN, is an organisation for serial killers and the leader is Patrick Jane.
Van Pelt is his daughter and also a member of RJ. organization.

Its none on the list . Its Patrick Jane.

THAT was the season finale?? How tiresome this whole thing has gotten. A mysterious killer who is stalking Patrick Jane, for some reason, and it is interwoven into the gov't agencies and all over the place, just to vex a guy who used to be a carnival psychic? For what gain? And it's just so "out there" with the stretching the imagination....last night killing the girl that was in a glimpse of a memory he'd told no one about. This is really too much on top of too much. I'm sorry, I've really liked this show but they need to end it, altho I can't see how at this point, and just get back to normal sort of murder who-done-its. But even those weren't that clever anymore. They'd lost the Columbo type edge to them. I hate seeing that happen to this show.

The 5/5/2013 Season Finale was a flop, and that's the only POSITIVE thing I can say about my all-time favorite show! The seven names individually or even collectively don't equal the portrayed story line of RJ. Such a huge disappointment. The show is riding on fumes. Bruno Heller...You should be ashamed! The show peaked highest when we all thought RJ had been killed by Patrick at the mall. Then the limo and Wainwright killing finale. But for the tongue in the box episode, the show is qualifying for TV's Olympic Downhill!

Can't be Ardiles - we know he is white. I'm thinking Judge Manchester.
