Veep Season 2 Preview: Hilarity, Hijinx to Ensue

at .

Just how much more insane could the office of the Vice President of the United States possibly get? Plenty, which bodes well for the second season of the HBO comedy Veep, kicking off tonight with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as VP Selina Meyers.

Earlier this week, a red carpet event and screening of the first two episodes took place on the Paramount lot in Hollywood and I was there to chat with the entire case about what fans can expect with these new episodes.

For starters, Louis-Dreyfus will tangle with Gary Cole in the new season and, as they both explained, it does not go well:

Tony Hale talked Veep and the upcoming Arrested Development Season 4, while Anna Chlumsky spoke on meeting Amy's family:

Reid Scott's Dan gets closer to the Oval Office while Sufe Bradshaw breaks down tough-as-nails Sue:

Timothy Simons explains what the staff thinks of Jonah and Matt Walsh's Mike keeps getting pulled into the Veep madness.

Veep airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on HBO.
