The Newsroom Trailer: Together and Alone

HBO viewers may still be reeling over last night's Game of Thrones episode, but those who turned in a couple minutes early were also treated to an extended promo for The Newsroom Season 2.

Set to Tom Odell’s “Can’t Pretend," the 90-second trailer features Jeff Daniels' embattled anchor sitting alone at a desk in the desert… only to start wandering around and running into other members of the ACN team.

We also see a billboard that reminds us the network boss is watching, along with a concluding shot of the group in front of a television and the tagline: "Together, They Stand Alone.”

The Newsroom Season 2 kicks off on July 14. Watch now:
