The X-Files to Celebrate 20-Year Anniversary at Comic-Con

by at . Comments

With The Walking Dead set to celebrate 10 years as a graphic novel at Comic-Con next month, we can confirm (via an ad in TV Guide Magazine) that The X-Files will also be honored at the annual pop culture festival next month.

Two decades since its premiere on Fox, an X-Files panel will take place on Thursday, July 18. It will include writer/producers David Amann, Vince Gilligan, Howard Gordon, Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, John Shiban and Jim Wong.

The X-Files stars

Gillian Anderson is expected to attend, though the status of Californication star David Duchovny is less certain at this time.

TV Fanatic will be all over the panel discussions, press rooms and red carpets of Comic-Con and will report what we can find out first hand. The truth has to be out there somewhere, right?

While I would LOVE to attend a 20th anniversary X-Files panel, really, a panel without MULDER is about as ill-advised as the last season without Mulder. Mulder, Scully, Skinner - at the very least - should be there.
