Television viewers turned out in droves last night to go Under the Dome.

The premiere of this CBS drama - based on a Stephen King novel and centering around a town whose residents are trapped inside by an invisible force field - garnered 13.1 million viewers on Monday.

It also scored a 3.2 in the advertiser-friendly 18-49-year old demographic, outdrawing the Stanley Cup Finals overall on NBC and finishing second to that event among young adults.
