HBO has made it official: viewers will be visiting Bon Temps once again in the summer of 2014.

The network announced today that it has renewed True Blood for a seventh season, no real surprise with the actions of Sookie and company continuing to garner strong ratings Sunday after Sunday.

“True Blood remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers,” said HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo. “Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV.”

HBO adds that the drama is “exceeding ten million viewers per episode" when measured across all platforms.
