at .

In front of an especially raucous crowd at Comic-Con today, James Roday, Dule Hill and fellow cast and crew members dished on Psych Season 8, specifically the upcoming musical episode and the special installment Roday will direct this fall.

The musical will feature our favorite duo on the trail of a a crazy playwright played by Anthony Rapp, who formerly burned a theater to the ground, killing a critic in the process.

Look for a villain from Shawn's past to show up and dole out clues to the pair in mysterious fashion in order to help them track down their dangerous foe.

"A Nightmare on State Street," meanwhile, will  include a storyline voted on by fans and will be directed by Roday. It will center on a sleep-deprived Gus agreeing to treatment for his exhaustion, only to emerge from therapy not exactly feeling like himself.

We're about to step into the Psych press room for red carpet interview with the stars and producers, so return to TV Fanatic later in the week for video exclusives, spoilers and more from this long-running USA smash.
