Switched at Birth: Renewed for Season 3!

ABC Family delivered a wealth of good news today to fans of three shows.

FIRST, Switched at Birth has been renewed for a third season.

SECOND, the network has picked up back orders for The Fosters and Twisted; both will now air full, 20-episode seasons.

“ABC Family has always been a home for groundbreaking storytelling with iconic characters and families and we’re thrilled to have The Fosters and Twisted join our line-up as breakout summer hits," said ABC Family president Michael Riley in a statement.

Each of these shows will finish off their summer runs and then return to ABC Family in January with new episodes.

The Fosters wraps up its first 10 episodes on August 5; Twisted will take a break on August 2; and the Switched at Birth Season 2 finale airs on August 19.
