Here's what we know so far about The Following Season 2:
- James Purefoy will be back as Joe Carroll.
- The series will jump ahead one year.
- Natalie Zea will be back as Claire... in some shape or form.
Regarding that final point, Kevin Bacon told us to tune in for the season finale (likely airing in January) to learn more about Claire's status, while also teasing something even more shocking: a happy and content Ryan Hardy?!?
As for Purefoy, he admits that he knew all along he's return as the show's main serial killer:
