Demi Lovato is settling in very nicely as a member of the Fox family.

Already on board as an X Factor judge for Season 3, the singer is nearing a deal to play a key role on Glee Season 5.

According to TV Line sources, Lovato will portray a struggling artist in New York City who befriends Rachel and Santana. Look for her to share many musical scenes with Adam Lambert, who is also set to recur on the comedy this fall.

Lovato will debut on the show's Beatles-themed October 3rd installment and appear in a minimum of six installments.

The role marks her first significant acting gig since Disney's Sonny with a Chance ended two years ago and means we'll be seeing A LOT of Lovato on Thursday nights, as X Factor results shows will lead into new Glee episodes.
