Sandra Oh is out. But a familiar face is in.

ABC sources confirm to TV Line that James Remar - best known as Dexter Morgan's father - will appear on multiple episodes of Grey's Anatomy Season 10. Details on the veteran actor's actual role are unclear, however, though he will debut early on this fall.

The action picks up again on Grey's Anatomy Thursday, September 26 with a two-hour premiere in which we'll learn the fate of Richard Webber.

Remar, meanwhile, has also appeared on episodes of such hits shows as Wilfred, The Vampire Diaries and Hawaii Five-0.
