Katherine Heigl to Make Television Comeback?

by at .

Katherine Heigl may be returning to the small screen.

The former Grey's Anatomy actress - who exited that series amidst some controversy in 2010, not long after withdrawing her name from Emmy consideration because she deemed her material unworthy for such an honor - is reportedly shopping a new drama around to the networks.

Izz She Gonna Stay?

According to USA Today, Heigl would star in the series, which would be produced and written by Alexi Hawley (Body of Proof, Castle).

Few details are available at this time, but sources believe the program would be some kind of procedural.

Since leaving Grey's Anatomy, Heigi has anchored a number of movies (Killers, Life As We Know It, One for the Money) none of which garnered much critical or audience appeal. Still, if she's serious about a return to television, it's safe to assume any Katherine Heigl series would be in popular demand for the 2014-2015 schedule.

Do you want to see Heigl back on TV? Or her Grey's Anatomy departure sour you for good to the actress?

I love this lady and would watch anything she is in. She never gets the credit she deserves for her acting abilities.

KH has a wise agent who's steering her back to tv, with very long hours, but she'd be the star!

I would love to see her back on TV, but not on GA. I stopped watching that years ago. I loved her on Roswell, so she can have a career outside of GA

I want her back to GA, she can bring some viewers back.

I guess her movie career has been a flop. I would love for her to return to GA but she is not needed their anymore.
