The lights have been turned off on Magic City.

Starz canceled the Jeffrey Dean Morgan-anchored drama today after two seasons.

Magic City Poster

"We are tremendously proud of the series and everyone involved,” the network said in a statement. “From the writers, to the cast and crew, it has been an incredible collaboration. This was a story born from Mitch Glazer’s singular vision of Miami, the Magic City of his childhood, and we are grateful to him for bringing it to life on Starz.

“The season’s story arc will allow us to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the series and we thank all the fans who checked in to the Miramar Playa.”

The series will wrap up with Friday's Season 2 finale, which airs at 9/8c.

A poor choice in cancellation of magic city...loved the show ...perhaps you could reconsider

Sad to see it go ..had really strong characters felt sorry for some .wanted to kill others.I think it was really good I'll miss it

"We are tremendously proud" seems like a bit of a stretch.
