NCIS Season 11 Promo: Farewell, Ziva

at . Comments

It's nearly time to say goodbye, NCIS Fanatics.

CBS has released the first trailer for NCIS Season 11 and it focuses on the impending departure of Cote de Pablo and the character she made famous.

As previously reported, the September 26th premiere will feature an explosion that takes the life of someone close to the agency and changes Parsons’ perspective on Gibbs, along with the NCIS team. How might this play a role in Ziva's farewell?

It's unclear. But it's teased in the following promo. Watch now - and prepare those Kleenex.

Maybe Tom Morrow is the one who dies.

@Guest: thank you for pointing out how impossible it would be for Ziva to be pregnant with Adam after a one-night stand in January, especially after everything she's been through since. However, I am very unhappy Adam is the first two episodes, and there is a doctor in the second episode. My personal wish is that Tony breaks Adam's jaw and that is where the doc comes in-haha. If GG has Ziva break Tony's heart and end up with Adam, then he is a clueless regarding the wishes of TIVA fans as he is about the letter he wrote.

It pains my heart yo see Ziva leave the show. I am posting this for my cousin Sharon who is her No. 1 fan from the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago.
Ziva epitomises Woman. She is strong, witty, intelligent, compassionate and can fight as good or better than the men. I will miss you Ziva. The show will not be the same without you. I love you! You make the show what it is!!!!

@Michael You are full of it. How would you know that only Mark and Cote have control? That is a pathetic attempt to deflect the truth from the situation. The only one who might have control is Mark Harmon. Stop making things up to fulfill your "I hate Cote" agenda.

@fan1 They don't have complete control only Mark and Cote do the rest are allowed to give ideas. I have to say I like what they have plan for the rest of the season

And if they are in control of how their characters are written and portrayed shouldn't the blame then for Tony acting like an a** be placed on Michael Weatherly's shoulders?!?

part 2
MW would have walked out the door a long time ago. But, no, he stays because he loves his job and he even said he loves working with Cote. In fact, he said just the other day that she was awesome. Read his article about NCIS continuing on with the Core DNA.

Brilliance just means they are good actors and good at their craft, it does not equate to creative control. Sorry, that doesn't happen. Yes, little nuances of who the person is are worked into the character, i.e. Mark Harmon was a carpenter so Gibbs as a wood worker was added as one of his characteristics. Michael Weatherly is good at ad-libbing so they let him have takes where he just adds things to the dialogue. That in no way translates to script writing and plot development for the show. If you watched the cast on "The Talk" in May, you would have heard both Michael and Cote say that they had no idea what was going to happen between their characters. They both have said this several times in on air and written interviews. Adding the essence of someone to their character in no way allows them to have creative control. And really, do you really believe that Cote has more control over the writers than Michael? I highly doubt that. And if he was really bothered by it, MW would have walked out the door a long time ago. But, no, he stays because he loves his job and he even said he loves working with Cote. I believe he just said the other day that she was awesome. Read his comments he made about the show going on with the Core DNA.

Every cast member of NCIS has input about the character they play. They suggest, decide and describe distinct attributes of their characters. This has been on many Talk Shows and Videos. When Mark Harmon was inducted into the Walk of Fame and received a Star, he said that NCIS would not be the hit show it is without the brilliance of each cast member.

Once again, are people really that ignorant to think that Cote de Pablo has anything to do with how her character is written or how Tony is written? Geez people, understand that this is the writers and no one else. Who are you going to blame now when Tony acts like an a** in an episode?!? I can't wait for this. But, I'm sure it won't be the writers or the creators of the show. I'm sure it will probably be Gibbs or McGee or Abby or someone else besides Tony and how he is written! Perhaps a better way to state this would be-"I hope that the writers decide to step up their game and go back to writing Tony in a way that makes him competent." See, it can be done without slamming Cote de Pablo and the character of Ziva who have nothing to do with the writing of Tony and how MW plays him.

NCIS Season 11 Episode 1 Quotes

I'm positive that NCIS is being set up. Sending you out here was not about Lieutenant McBride. It was about separating you from your team.

Tobias: Hard to know who to trust anymore.
Gibbs: Has it ever been easy, Tobias?
